Stayed Dec 30, 2025We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is amazing to cook for family. The layout is unique and quite functional. Although there are 3 en-suite rooms and one with no bathroom, which makes it weird for the folks in that room. It is perfect for 3 couples or a tight family. We landed in the latter, so it worked well. There was a ton of rain and we enjoyed puzzles and games. It was cozy and comfy.

Stayed Dec 22, 2024This is our second stay at the Pilot House. It was as lovely as our first stay. Four separate bedrooms allow privacy for everyone and the large open area is great for hanging out together. Other than the coyotes and an owl, it was very quiet at night. We hope to stay here again on a future trip.

Stayed Dec 24, 2023My family loved the unique design and spaciousness of the house. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. The manager was helpful and friendly. Location was great, close to a great area of Anza-Borrego and downtown while feeling private and very quiet. We definitely would love to come back.

Stayed Apr 6, 2022If you want to visit the desert this is the property for you. It was convenient to shop in town but we loved coming back to a more remote location.
