A beautifully newly renovated home with 3 full bedrooms and 3 full baths and a fourth bonus sunroom/sitting room / bedroom with French doors and windows all around with a twin trundle bed that can be used for sleeping or just lounging.

Privacy and peace from the outside World. The home is on an Island on the Island boasting a raised beach house with two levels in a wooded setting. There are Marsh views just off the court and a short walk takes you to a Marsh crossing; it’s an amazing spot for sunsets.

The home features a king room with an amazing shower, one queen room with hall bath close by jacuzzi tub included and a bonus bedroom/sunroom with twin trundle.
The upstairs has a full with two twins also with bathroom and tiled shower stall with sitting bench. There is a nice living area that leads to the back screened in porch.

We have installed an outside shower (cold only) to rinse after the pool or beach or just to rinse off sandy toys.

There is a new wood burning fireplace in the living room for cozy nights .

There is a very nice large outdoor pool for our neighborhood only just two houses down and a pass is provided for your use with no extra fees; the pool season runs April 1st till Nov 1st . (Covid restrictions may apply)

There is also a full access pass to Hunting Island where you can climb the lighthouse (also no added cost) climbing is also free during normal business hours. The pass allows 4 at a time to climb and possible Covid restrictions.

There is a crabbing and fishing dock in the back of the neighborhood again for our neighborhood use only. The beach is a short 3/4 mile walk and golf carts can be rented. Call ahead to book those if interested. We see um and Fripp Island carts both do rentals.

There is a small convenience store by the security gate (Mangos) it’s pricey as you would expect so we recommend getting food on the way in or bringing it with you. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils and a pretty full array of small appliances. Please discard all perishable food but feel free to use or leave condiment type items for other guests.

There are linens and towels at the house. This does not include beach towels please bring them we would prefer the bath towels be used for the inside. . There are several bikes under the house but they are mostly in disrepair. There are also bikes available for rent as needed.

Come down and enjoy yourself. Our home is your home. There is also a locking kitchen and pantry for weight loss retreats.

There are baby items in the upstairs closet (a pack and play, high chair) as well as some items for elderly or handicap people. (wheel chair and walker)

We welcome all special needs families and all military families.

Note: We are not club members and amenity cards cannot be purchased through our rental. The price reflects this. We feel we have one of the best priced homes for the value in the stay and the takeaway. Feel free to message me about anything including dates or rates. We try to make accommodations when we can.

Fees:
We charge additional for cleaning. This costs includes the provision of sheets and their laundering and making the beds. It is expected that you clean up after yourselves and please wash the dishes and towels. At this time we are paying additional costs for more extensive cleaning.

We also charge a parking fee this is a charge for incidental costs. We have chosen to keep the price low for smaller groups while charging a little more for larger groups. Larger groups tend to come with more cars. So that’s how we chose to do it. This is not an attempt to mislead you when booking. EXTRA CAR PASSES WILL BE ASSESSED AND ADDED TO YOUR BOOKING AS IT ONLY ALLOWS ONE FEE PER ITEM. This is our fee not an Island fee and may not be assessed on other properties.

All that being said our home is still less expensive than most on the island that can accommodate 10 people and I think it’s ready just for you!

    For such an exorbitant cleaning fee, the house was extremely dirty when we arrived. There was old coffee still in the pot, cobwebs in the kitchen, hair on bathroom floors, showers and on some of the pillows. Rather disappointing for a cool house in a great location. Other than the uncleanliness which is clearly a cleaner issue, we enjoyed our stay on Fripp.

    The location and setup of the house are great. We love Fripp Island and have been coming for years. We loved the primary bathroom shower. The walls need a good cleaning and coat of paint. The house had a musty smell upon arrival, there were cobwebs, the oven didn't appear clean, the outside stairs and railings were covered in pine needles, the dining table was dirty, there was a half smoked cigarette on the deck, and there were several spiders and bugs in the upstairs bedroom. Once I got rid of the spiders, I didn't see more. Once we got past the cleaning issues, we had a great time on the island. I wish the fridge were a bit bigger. We did not get amenity cards, so we brought food for the week for seven people, and had trouble fitting all the food in the fridge. The beverage fridge under the coffee bar was nice to have. The pass to Hunting Island was a nice perk!

    I have never encountered bed bugs, so I didn't know what the small bugs were the first night. I text the owner in the middle of the night and he said it was probably just because the house had been exterminated. I recently saw a post on Facebook and the owner has been aware of the issue for a while. This owner doesn't care about the people that rent from him. Also the property does not have 4 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is a little sun porch with a small bed.

    We came to Fripps Island as it was close to Parris Island, where my grandson was graduating from boot camp. The home we were in was everything we could have possibly hoped for--spacious, clean, located close to Beaufort where food and shopping was available. We cooked most of our food and the arrangement of the house made it possible for us all to eat together and enjoy family time. We had to head back a day early, and all of us longed to stay that last day.I can honestly say, this was the most perfect rental I have ever had with VRBO; my sister is already looking into booking the home for her daughter's bridal weekend.I cannot thank the host enough for all the effort that clearly went into making this a go-to place to stay.

    This property was everything that I expected it to be. We utilized it during Christmas and the stay was great. My mom has mobility issues and most of bedrooms were on the first floor, which was a big plus for us. The overall experience was a good one! I will definitely seek out to rent again!

    Property is ok but could be beautiful and excellent with a few repairs. The front deck is very soft in spots so we used the back deck mostly. The front door lock needs to be replaced as it is hit or miss with unlocking or locking, take at least tens minutes to complete the task. When we arrived and got into the house we were hit with a very muskey moldy smell. The owner told me the house had been closed up for two weeks and they had to repair the AC back in August due to a leak but had not had time to any other work on the house. It took two full days to air out the house, buying amours an air fresheners to be tolerated. There were candles that had been left by the previous guest (I’m guessing) we used them also. The owner Lon was nice and responded quickly to my text just didn’t really offer a solution to the issues, stated that’s why the rate was so reasonable. I get it but wish he had told about the AC issue when I rented the house. I fairness to him he said he was 4 hours away and no other guest had complained so it’s likely he didn’t realize how bad it was. The only other issue would be the driveway, we bought parking passes for four cars and had two golf carts there was not enough room in the driveway for the cats, and the garage was very wet and had a lot of rotten wood.

    This was a great property for the price. The location is great, and the house is fully furnished. The owners are in the process of upgrading, so there are a few things that show their age. Our only issues were cleaning-related. There were obvious stains on a set of sheets, and some bathmats that smelled strongly of urine (dog?). Apart from those issues, our stay was pleasant.

    10 out of 10! The host was very helpful with all our needs. The house was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. Also come with tons of games that the kids enjoyed! The upstairs was a perfect place for all the kids to hang out! We love the Sawgrass community can’t wait for next year’s trip! Only downfall was the Community pool closes on October 1st so keep that in mind when booking!

    We had a wonderful time. House is as advertised and in a perfect location. Had an issue with the A/C one day, let the owner know and he had someone out to fix it just an hour or 2 later. Will definitely stay here again.
