Bonfire by the Creek

Allow me to say that the host was VERY kind and helpful. Her rental property was clean and had everything that a family would need to have a awesome time! Definitely the BEST rental that I ever came across! And once again, I thank you for everything.

It was a great place, quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed

Don’t be fooled by the lack of glitz and glamour, this home is extremely cozy, comfortable and quiet. The hostess is amazing. There was absolutely nothing we lacked for whether kitchen, bath or extra sleep stuff. I received a text with local amenities, of which we sampled and found wonderful. Check in and out was easy and convenient. Games were a delightful surprise for downtime. A thoughtful welcome treat was “frosting” on an already amazing “cake”. If you are looking for comfort and ease, this is your place!! We will be back to explore the lovely bayside area and interesting stores, restaurants and attractions!!

Kim was awesome, the property beautiful and serene!

Check in was easy. Place was clean, nice and well stocked. Beautiful waterfront view from the front and easily viewed at kitchen sink and sitting in living room, so easy to keep an eye on the kids. Also the water access right there is limited by vegetation so was a barrier to the kids ages 10-3. Water access was a short walk where the boat house is with a very easy kayak launch and 3 nice kayaks to use. This was the favorite of the 9 and 10 year olds. The kids played in the sand at the launch during low tide which the 3yo especially enjoyed. Even in the summer the night was good for bonfires. There are lots of surrounding things to do but we loved the property so much we only left briefly to check out Elk Neck State Park a couple of miles away. While out we saw 4 foxes and several deer. We so much enjoyed bird watching from the yard, seeing Golden and Bald eagles, as well as a multitude of others. The hosts are great and live just up the road so if anything was needed they were right there and very responsive. Love love loved it!!

Great place for fishermen, parking easily could accommodate 3 truck and boats.

Kim and family were extremely helpful from booking to the time we were there at their rental house. They did all they could to make our visit very nice, down to giving us a nice treat to welcome us too. Very helpful with any questions or issues we had and showing us around the property and beach house area. If you don't see something in house that you need, just ask and she will find a way to get it to you. Hard part for the elderly was going in the river to float, must wear water shoes and very short sand beach before mud. If Tide isn't in then it's hard to get out into the water, into a float. Other than that had a great time. Very clean too. Thank you.

Such a Great time. The Hosts were over the top!The place well prepared for Comfort. The view is so Serene and Peaceful. We plan to return!

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at Kim's house. The waterfront beauty is unmatched, and the amenities provided are fantastic. We enjoyed dinner and smores by the firepit, mornings and afternoons on the water in the kayaks, and time together inside the house. We ventured into town and had terrific food, drinks, and shopping. We will absolutely be back!

We had a fabulous time at Kim's place. She was an amazing host. I came from NJ. with my daughters and their signifigant others, to see a show in Havre De Grace. The check in was easy. It's a beautiful setting! There were snacks and beverages that we appreciated greatly! There was plenty of wood and kindling for beautiful bonfires each night. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept well! Kim sent a link with so many fun things do in town. There are great stores, restaurants and a even a fantastic zoo! A quiet and secluded location, but close to town and other county activities.

We were in the area for a family wedding. We decided not to stay in a hotel. This place was perfect for us to stay with our immediate family. It was a beautiful setting and a well maintain home. We would definitely stay again.

If I could give this property ten stars, I would. I don’t have enough space to rave about the hosts. The house was extremely clean and organized. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at all times. Truly some of the kindest people with superb information and recommendations. The scenery was outstanding. We stayed there to celebrate my son’s graduation from UDel and it did not disappoint!! We literally had the most beautiful bonfire by the creek. Love love loved our stay!
