Blue Wave Beach Front View Private Pool Most Reviews on SGI

We had a very comfortable and fun week at the blue wave! We stayed there a couple years ago and they have renovated the inside. The floors are new. The counters are new and I think the second bathroom is as well. It’s a short walk across the road to get to the path to the beach maybe 150 yards total and they have all the accessories you would need in the kitchen. And even some coolers in the laundry room if you needed them.The only thing I will say is that the pool is pretty darn small. If you want it just to relax in and cool off. It’s pretty good but if you have small kids and you want them to be able to play, it’s not really made for that. I did have my seven year-old and three year-old with me and we spent time in it. Don’t give me wrong but if there is any more of them, it would’ve been too small.

This house was so much better than the description says. The view from the balcony was amazing! Watched a pod of dolphins swim by during the day and stargazed at night. The house was very clean and had so much natural sunlight. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Host was great and easy to reach during our stay. Great location near the center of the island and a clear view of/walk to the beach across the street. Older St. George Island home (as are many in the middle of the island); however nicely renovated recently and very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, large and comfortable common room and bedrooms.Only quibble we had was it would be nice to have a bit more comfortable bedding in the master bedroom (the bed itself was comfortable however).

My employees and I enjoyed a “work” week here. Was just what we needed. Great WiFi, we were able to do telehealth from the home while looking at the beach. Over all very clean, comfortable beds, direct access to the beach.I recommend staying here and would stay again.

Beautiful home. Spacious kitchen open to great room and the ocean view. Very clean and lovely property. Enjoyed leaving the beach and getting in the pool. Very short walk across the street to the beach. Short ride to stores and restaurants. Ww thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This was our 3rd stay at Blue Wave. It is our favorite VRBO destination. 10 stars!

Beautiful beach view. Well equipped kitchen, used grill once, worked well. Property had everything our family needed. Very comfortable.

we had such a wonderful time at st. george island. it felt like we had the island to our place! and being at the blue wave was perfect for my husband and I and our baby! quiet, close to the beach, close to town and all the amenities that make it great to just chill at the house! we will be back

Everything was absolutely wonderful well advertised, beautiful view, and reasonable price.My one small complaint is that I think the pool was over chlorinated. One of us ended up have a very bad eye reaction to it, but it was probably a combination of factors. Overall an excellent stay and I would absolutely vacation here again.

Great location. Spacious living area and very well equipped kitchen. Pool was very clean and perfect for a quick dip. Ocean access and beautiful beach directly across the street. A quick few minutes to have our toes in the sand. Loved the outdoor shower.

Such a beautiful home in a great location. The beach is just a few steps away. The porch was awesome with nice furniture - I loved the rocking chairs. We were all very impressed with the house, the pictures of the interior do not do it justice. Before leaving we were all looking at when we could come back next year.

Everything was great, but i was surprised that we only had one towel per person. We had to wash towels every day to use for our showers. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.

This stay was so amazing! It’s right across from the beach with wonderful beach view! The whole place was clean and well maintained. The pool was perfect size for two young kids to play in. We got stuck in the house for a whole day because of some storms, but the beautiful and comfortable house made it a better experience. Tish was wonderful! Very responsive and helpful! Will be trying to stay here again!

We stayed in Blue Wave during Easter weekend and it was great! The property matches the description, has great views and very good bedrooms. The pool is small but the kids still had fun with it!! The only thing that needs to be addressed by the property management company is the grill, which is falling apart from all the rust. Thankfully we did not have plans to use it during the stay, otherwise it would be frustrating.

We loved the property. Great location with easy walk to beach. Everything was clean and very nice. My family had a great time. Hope to come again.

Our March 2025 stay at Blue Wave is over. Always the best time when we stay there. The house is very clean and in excellent condition. SGI provided a week of beautiful weather. We will be back.

We stayed for 5 days. 3 couples. It was perfect. Wonderful open concept which allowed for plenty of visiting together. The porch across the front is fabulous. Lots of seating for a spectacular view! Would definitely stay there again.

Tish is so easy to work with- everything is exactly as described online. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. This was our second time staying here and won’t be the last.

Blue Wave was absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. It has everything one could need for a comfortable stay. The porch has plenty of room to enjoy the views and ample space to stay out of the sun. We loved our stay at blue wave and look forward to staying again.

I can’t say enough amazing things about our stay at blue wave. Tish, the owner, was wonderful with communication. When we arrived, the home was super clean and stocked with all the basics you would receive at a hotel, plus some. The house and view were perfect! We will definitely be back!!
