Great views, Robert and Rob were very helpful in a variety of ways. Would stay there again!
Perfect location!! Home has everything you could possibly need. Many spots to hang out. Sun room overlooking the lake and view from the master bed is amazing. Loved lounging on the sunroom chaise with my 7mo old grandson and cuddling with my grandpuppies. So close to Montréal too!
Hey! Robert’s house was a fun place to stay. The house is huge, decorations are really funky and cool, and the lakefront is really beautiful. It’s a cool part of the lake and good for boating. Plenty of space to comfortably sleep 12. We had a blast and it’s a great value. Would book again.
Grandparents, parents and children met for a fine time overlooking Lake Champlain, We enjoyed kayaking, swimming , biking and an outing to Montreal.
We had a great time and when we needed to call the owners, they were there in a matter of minutes to help. Really nice place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you
We were a group of 9 adults and 3 dogs and had more than enough space for everyone to spread out. Rob and Bob were lovely hosts and quick to help with any issues we might have had. I would warn that there are lots of little decorations around the house so it might not be the best for very young children. The yard was huge and felt very secluded and the beach was a nice small-stone beach and we spent most of our time on the back deck overlooking the yard/lake or at the beach/in the water. LOTS of fish and VT offers visitor fishing licenses so if you are so inclined, make sure you bring your gear. Montreal, Burlington, and Plattsburgh are all within day trip range. Definitely bring your passports! And check out New Dye Tye Dye shop, owned by the hosts while you are there!
Great location on Lake Champlain. We had a great week. The house has everything you need. The hosts were very responsive. Bring your passport...Canada literally steps away!
Three generations enjoyed a terrific week together. We had some rainy days which were perfect for game playing, cooking, and hanging out together. And then some sunny days to enjoy on the lake. We brought our own kayaks, inflatable tubes, and a paddle board which helped to add to the fun. House has everything you need and then some. Beds are super comfortable and there are essential three living rooms so everyone has a place to go to get some peace and quiet when needed. Our dog enjoyed the huge yard and we enjoyed lake views from three different locations in the house as well as from the deck. Robert was a superb host!
We (family, in-laws, and kids) had a fabulous time reconnecting at Robert and Bob's house! We could always reach out with questions if they arose. The check-in process was very easy and we appreciated the welcome gifts. We loved the privacy and peacefulness the house provided. Despite some iffy weather, we had a blast. If we needed to stay indoors, we enjoyed spreading out and playing games, napping, or just reading in one of the many areas there were to chill. The location on the lake is beautiful and just truly a serene place to take in nature and unplug. We hope to return in the future!
Absolutely breathtaking property, very easy access down to the water. Could not have asked for a more perfect place to go. The owner was extremely helpful and very pleasant, very easy to speak with with any questions. A true gentleman
Everything about this property was perfect, for our family to gather, to celebrate Thanksgiving. Plenty of bedrooms, comfortable beds, ample linens, a perfectly clean house, and a fully stocked Kitchen all were just a part, of “everything we needed”. We loved the fireplace, the huge table for dining and playing games, the waterfront to watch the beautiful sunrise, and the geese coming and going. We even had a Bald Eagle sighting, and a few loons coming by, to visit briefly. Robert and Bob were quick to respond with answers, to a couple of quick questions, and they made check in and check out easier than ever. We will definitely stay again!
The house was larger than expected. Decoration was aclectic and interesting.
We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake house retreat. My brother got married ~1 mile from the rental. It was the perfect rental for us to be close to the wedding and enough rooms for our family. Robert was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. He also had every detail covered with instructions. Highly recommend!
The place is fun! Lots of spaces to gather, chat, relax, play games - everything you want for a relaxing vacation. The owners were timely in communications, and thoughtful in what they provided to welcome guests. A very comfortable space to hang out with friends!
Our family stayed at this property recently for a family reunion. It's located literally on the Canadian border (border crossing is near the driveway) and on Lake Champlain. We loved the house, plenty of room for us and the owners were very responsive to our needs. They also left some organic vegetables and wine which added an extra touch. It's a quiet location, we found plenty of things to do outside including a day trip to Montreal. We would definitely stay here again!
Easy, accommodating, friendly, supportive
The house was roomy and perfect for our family of 10. The kids loved the beach area. The lawn was great for playing yard games. Peaceful, relaxing, overall a great vacation home.
The house and property were perfect for a week vacation with the whole extended family. Quiet part of the lake but close enough for day trips to Burlington. The fishing was amazing…. Caught the biggest bass of our lives. Great local beer, wine and produce!
