Beautiful home! The pictures do not do it justice. We loved everything about it. Super clean. Looked like it was just updated. Loved the way it was decorated. The porch is a very peaceful place to relax. The kitchen is Fully stocked. We’ve stayed at many homes and this one by far provides the most amenities in the kitchen and laundry areas. We didn’t have to buy anything but food and ice. It’s a little warm at night in the bedrooms but it’s stocked with fans to keep you cool. There’s an air conditioner and ceiling fan in the main living area. Ceiling fan in master bedroom. It’s close to town (10 min) by car not walking. We didn’t mind that at all. Cool restaurants, groceries nearby. It’s a steep hill to get to home which made coming home an adventure. Lots of deer could be seen along the road. We would definitely stay here again. We travelled with our sons, 17 & 19. Plenty of games provided too. Wish we could have stayed longer. So happy we chose this home! Owner, Carrie checked in with us to make sure everything was good.

The kitchen was immaculate and very pretty. The bathrooms were clean as well. The carpet was vacuumed but quite old and stained. There was a musty/moldy

The cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing and restful time. We were working everyday during our week, helping to build homes for those that suffered loss from Helene. The washer/dryer were great (the owner even provided laundry soap). Coffee in the morning before heading out (coffee and filters were provided by the owner too). Coming back to the cabin and relaxing on the screened in porch, listening to each others stories of the day, was WONDERFUL!! Thank you so much for making this available for us during our time working in the area. We will stay here again when back to continue volunteering in the area with Samaritan's Purse.

Well-appointed kitchen made cooking meals for my local family a snap & Burnsville has an excellent grocery store! The screen porch was a favorite gathering spot when we gathered as well as comfy sectional across from fireplace. Just a perfect hilltop cabin with plenty of wildlife amid the treetops!

We were in the area visiting family and the cabin was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked for anything we needed. We especially loved the screened porch and enjoyed our coffee there every morning. I hope to stay again the next time we visit.

My husband and I brought a trailer load of post Helene supplies and donations from Alabama. We visited with new friends made over the past two months while helping with various things from a distance. This home was the perfect setting to host our friends and their two children. Other than our groceries, we did not have to worry about or look for anything we needed. The house is so warm, inviting and cozy. Beds slept fine, WiFi was strong, kitchen beautifully decorated and likely the most well stocked cabinets of any Vrbo we have stayed in. The view is wonderful too! We will definitely return and plan to stay here every time. Thank you for this terrific place!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. The location is very peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed! The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances, pots and utensils. We both loved the screened in porch to sit and relax. We saw deer grazing in the yard. Wonderful place!

So charming! Host is gifted in hospitality. I felt like I was staying at the home of a friend. From her initial call to assure that our check-in went well to all the special touches in the cabin, we felt at home. While we loved visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway, we almost wished for a day of rain so we could have spent more time in the cabin. The views were spectacular. While another review expressed concern about the one lane road for a small section of the last leg of the trip, it was paved and we had no problems, even though we do not have a 4wd vehicle. There were places to pullover if a car came from the opposite direction. It is only for local residents. We only saw one vehicle on it in 3 days. Great place to stay!

Our daughter, son in law, grandkids, and boy and girl friends stayed at the house. They live in Florida, and it was so great to see them. We were glad they had a safe place to stay.

The property was designed around watching the sun rise over the trees, and we did, from the porch and the living room. Every detail reminded us to relax and indulge. Kitchen had everything, was beautiful. 2 bathrooms were helpful for our group of 5. Bedding was comfortable. Our only tip is to arrive in daylight because at night we weren't sure which of 2 driveways it was. (Pick the right side, less steep driveway.) Overall, this was a perfect way to visit the Burnsville area.
