My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this quiet lakefront property!

What a fabulous place! Beautiful cabin with lake access and lovely porch for morning coffee. I feel totally rejuvenated. Jesse and Joy were amazing hosts. I had absolutely everything I needed including a wonderful welcome basket of goodies. So quiet and peaceful with a great lake view. Loved every part of my stay. Thank you!

My stay was incredibly peaceful and it’s a beautiful spot on a lake. There aren’t many houses around and it was so quiet - which made for a wonderful getaway. It was also close to the wedding I attended at Pretty Bird farm.

We were in the area for my Sons wedding. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! It was comfortable and beautiful. We would like to come back when we have more time to enjoy this cozy spot !!!!!!

This was a very peaceful stay!

This was a good choice to get away without having to travel too far but still feeling like you had a break. The lake is beautiful. I thought this was a private unit unto itself like a lone cabin on the lake. I didn’t realize it was a building next to the main house. Not a complaint per say, just a different set up than I was imagining. Other than that, a lovely getaway.

Lovely place. I would love to return in the future. There was a raspberry pie waiting for us on the table when we arrived. We ate all of it as well as the beautiful scenery around us. Waking to see the sun come through the windows and then on to the lake and the trees, just wonderful. So glad to have had stayed here. Thank you!

Beautiful view, cozy lil’ place!

The location was quiet. Very serene. The walkway from the driveway to the suite was not safe; the walkway has gravel and small rocks with wood steps located every three feet or so. It was very slippery and dangerous; I ended up bruising my ankle because it was so slippery, I fell. The lighting in the room is very dull.The outdoor lighting was very disturbing as there weren't any curtains above the bed to block out the bright light; making it hard to sleep.The private walk to the dock was a gravel path that was too slippery to walk down.

Beautiful stay, could not have been more peaceful and accommodating!

My stay was quiet, which is just what I needed. I loved the view of the lake. When outside, the only sound was the wind and a variety of birds. My only complaint was the lack of spoons for eating the soup I brought. I messaged the host, but never heard back. It would been nice to get a response, even if they didn't have means to provide a spoon. The other suggestion I have is to (1) add more lighting, like a reading light over the bed and (2) a table that could be used as a desk that also has good lighting for those like me with poor eyes at night. These are small issues, I only provide comments as constructive feedback. No real complaints. Overall, the place was what I expected and I would definitely stay there again.

we had a lovely stay at the Blue Hydrangea! hosts were very accommodating and there were even some surprise treats awaiting us when we arrived. so nice getting to relax by the lake for a few days - spotted many birds and soaked up lots of sun on the pier. thank you Jesse and Joy for setting up a very memorable weekend!

Such a cute little place! We wanted to stay longer! The balcony was the perfect place to sit and have coffee and enjoy the view and smell the clean fresh air. Jesse our host was very helpful and accommodating. Place was very clean too. Thank you!

Jesse was a wonderful host! very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and more. the view was incredible and the blue hydrangea was such a cute stay.

Magical and soul nourishing spot!

What a lovely, secluded, quiet and peaceful location! And the studio is beautifully furnished with a country resort theme. Great attention to detail and all the comforts of home! I highly recommend and will return often!

The cabin was very clean and maintained. The view from the balony was absolutely amazing! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and brought our kayaks. Other than getting supplies at the store we did not leave for the entire 3 night stay. The host (Jesse) was very helpful and a great communictor. I had an issue with vrbo overcharging us for an additional night and Jesse personally handled it. When I called vrbo all I got was an unhelpful chatbot. This was the break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we needed. My only regret is that I didnt book an even longer stay.

Nice cabin

This little place was great! The balcony was the best part. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

The Blue Hydrangea was the perfect spot for our stay. The lake is beautiful and the cabin was perfect! So many little touches that made our time extra special. Jesse was super responsive to our few questions and even gave us some good tips for fishing on the dock. We Will definitely be coming back!!

Great stay, loved the deck

This was an incredible stay over the Fourth of July with fireworks over the lake from all around. The VRBO hosts even left treats for my stay, incredible stay - will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The suite was comfortable, and the seating and view of the lake from the covered porch was fantastic. The host was quite accommodating, & responded quickly to our few questions. Our only constructive comment would be that more freezer space would be good. We had to surrender our local ice cream purchase to our children who live nearby, as it wouldn’t fit.

Cozy little place to get some rest and relaxation. Nice amenities, clean, quiet, and larger than the pictures might suggest. The real star of the rental, however, is the covered porch. I probably spent most of my trip curled up and reading out there. Will definitely be returning!J.R.

Nice quiet getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Blue Hydrangea - the lake cabin had a gorgeous view and was clean, cozy and had every amenity we needed. The covered porch was incredible with lots of comfortable seating and truly felt like an extension of the room. The marionberry pie and wine and chocolate made us feel so welcomed and was perfect for celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Thank you so much for having us - we will be back again for sure!
