Blue House: verandas overlooking the sea from the garden. Beach access from home

We stayed in casa blue in April and we loved it! Our kids had plenty of space to play. The garden in amazing and it is well looked after. When you get bored of the garden you can just step down onto the beach and take a short walk to Montalbano's house. The house is well equiped with all you might need. The constant sound of the sea and smell of the jasmine which was in bloom was amazing and so relaxing. You definitely need a car if you want to see some other amazing places and to go shopping. We went to Ragusa, Modica and Scicli which are about 40min drive away from the villa. Donnafugata castle is also worth seeing. We loved the place and we would love to come come back one day!

We had a lovely stay in the Blue House. The host Fabrizio and Alessandro were so helpfull i could reach them anytime. The Garden is fantastic, so you have several options to sit and eat, depending on the wether. It was lovely to stay so close to the water and beach and to here the Sound of the Waves all the Time! We will come back.

Great house, nice location, beautiful garden, perfect host. I can highly recommand. Correct communication, everything well organized. We would like to come back again.

We were two families renting both the blue and the red house, which we found to be the perfect place for this setting. The beautiful huge garden was perfect for the children to play, it offered many nice places to sit and a barbecue area. It offers a beautiful view towards the sea and the beach can be reached directly via a staircase from the garden. The beach ist lovely and never crowdet. The next village is even with little children an easy walking distance away (just along the beach!) and many interesting destinations can be reached by car. The houses offered a lot of space and we found everything we needed. The two houses next to each other gave us the opportunity to spend a holiday together and still to resile every now and again. We found it to be a perfect place for our holiday and our hosts were very caring and helpfull with every question or request we had!

We enjoyed very much our stay in your house ! It is comfortable, clean and it has everything you need ! We liked the architecture and the design of the house and the garden is beautiful ! The sea view and the constant sound of the waves are very relaxing ! We liked to eat outside on the terrace, which lies in the shade and has a big table. The long beach of Punta Secca is only a few minutes walking away. It was in every respect a wonderful vacation !

What a perfect spot. We spend a week (parents + 1 child) in this magical place. If you are looking for absolut peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place. You practically live on the sandy beach (really good for kids), and you can walk along the beach to the nearest cosy town, which has a couple of ok restaurants. The house got everything you need - especially soul and atmosphere.

We have been enjoying our holidays in the Blue house of Maredinotte last week a lot. Together with our 3 year old son we have been exploring the beautiful rough natural beaches of Raguza area. Of course we didnt miss out on the chance to visit the Baroq cities of Modica and Raguza. Splendid! We have enjoyed our stay a lot especially since the house is surrounded by a huge garden that offers a lot of exploration and play for a toddler. The house itself is nice and coazy and all you need is present. Its wonderful to wake up and to hear the sounds of the sea. The fenced wall and the door entrance directly to the see is offering a secure space for little kids. We also enjoyed the quietness of the house and the surroundings. If you would ask us this is an excellent place for small families, extended families, couples, etc. Next to our house there is also a bigger family house on its own property with a magnificant sea view. Also the way the house is managed by the owner is very pleasant. The contact was good and we could ask all our questions. Thanks for the great stay!!

We booked Casa Blu and Casa Rosa for a week in May and we all loved this charming, magical place. We were 7 with children aged between 11 and 16 who loved the beach right in front of the property and the stroll into Punta Secca was easy. The two properties are situated in beautiful gardens full of cactus and flowers, there are plenty of seating areas throughout the grounds and easy to find a quiet spot for an afternoon siesta. The owners are charming and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as perfect as possible. We would certainly book the property again and visit this lovely part of Sicily.

The house is basic, gorgeous garden , perfect location on the beach, very close to south Sicily tourist sites. The little village of Caucana offers good food at the rosticceria and supermarkets have cheap price veggy and meat or fish to barbecue. As far as the house is concerned you do not have to have great ambitions but it is comfortable enough to have a great vacation: in hot months you will always live outside and the garden offers many shadow zones. Perfect for families with kids or animals . Adviced the cleaning lady to keep the house in good shape.
