Blue Haven Inn- Ocean Isle Beach

The check-in process was easy and we were able to get into the house sooner than 4pm. All of the bedrooms were beautifully furnished and came with linens. The living room, sitting room, dining room and game room downstairs were perfect for our family gatherings. The views of the ocean were incredible and access to the beach was very convenient. The pool was also nice.

The interior of the home was fantastic! Very, very clean! It was so nice to have clean beds and linens along with bathroom/beach towels!Only flaw was one of the showers did not drain at all, so one of the family members shared a bathroom.The exterior definitely has a bug issue on the decks and pool area. Fans would be helpful. Outside shower was a mess, but Foster came and worked hard to clean it up.Suggestion would be a drip system for bug control, ceiling fans also, and for people to NOT leave their toys and pool items...just take them or throw them out.

Great location and comfortable home. Needs a good deep cleaning and for the owners to go through a lot of things that are listed as amenities, but are broken or no longer functional: there is a pool table, but not a single functional cue. There is ping pong, but no net and only 1 paddle. Bicycles are listed, but not there, as is a high chair. This sight lists that it sleeps 22 people, but the note at the home says only 18. There are futons and pull out couches, but they don't provide linens to use them, and they also don't tell you that up front, so we had to buy linens and blankets that we could have brought from home. The kitchen faucet comes completely off and finding the right temperature water was s constant battle. Was told pickleball courts were accessible and they were not. The wifi went out every single day which made it hard for those who were working and college students submitting work. The rails on the porch if the living room (2nd floor) that overlooked the pool were broken and a safety hazard, especially for small children. Games and puzzles and beach toys need to be addressed as many are broken, pieces lost and unable to be used. The biggest majority should just be thrown away. The location, weather and being surrounded by family, along with the overall comfort of the home saved this from being a disaster, but such a beautiful home with the potential that was advertised, should not be left to fall into this type of ill-repair.

Great house with lots of amenities! Needed a few kitchen items to cook properly, larger pans etc. fridge water filter was overdue to be changed and upstairs icemaker wasn’t working well so we needed to buy ice elsewhere. Other than that it was an amazing week for our family! Thank you!

Awesome time!! Beautiful home!

We had 18 folks ranging in age from 2-75 years for a 3-generation family reunion. This house suited our needs well with lots of indoor space and excellent outdoor space. We spent a lot of time on the big shaded porch when we weren't at the beach. Having direct, private beach access was a plus. The large dining table was especially appreciated for meals and hanging out. We ate most meals at the house but enjoyed 2 dinners at local restaurants - Smoked BBQ and Ocean Isle Fish Company.We didn't realize until the 3rd day that each floor has a thermostat regulator. Had we known this we would have adjusted the 3rd floor thermostat upwards at night so the bedrooms were not so cold. The elevator was a great convenience for getting luggage and groceries from our cars to the main floor.All in all it was a very good experience!

We had a great time staying at the Blue Haven Inn - we couldn't have asked for a better location just steps off the beach with a private boardwalk access. The house had plenty of space for our large group - enough bedrooms, bathrooms and communal space to all hangout in. Check in & check out process was easy, and communication with the hosts was always quick and helpful.The only disappointment was for a house that sleeps 22 people, there were only 4 beach chairs available to use. Highly recommend staying here for your next beach vacation!

Great location with plenty of space!

If you’re looking for a great place to stay this is the house. This house was everything and more. Beautiful, spacious and a great getaway spot. The view of the beach was top notch. This house was big enough for me and my large family who was there to celebrate a special occasion. Pool area, and the basement was really nice for the kids. Private beach walk way. The host made it very easy for check in and check out instructions . If any concerns that I had they replied back really fast. Definitely will be booking again.

Blue Haven was amazing for our large family. Lots of space and fun activities for everyone. Beds and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Many chairs and beach toys too. Definitely would stay again.

The proper was absolutely beautiful. House was well stocked, pool was clean and lovely with the heater. Beach access was incredible on the west end of the island we frequently were the only people within sight - admittedly we were there in the off season but the weather was still great for beach days. Communication with the hosts was excellent, they were very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time! We can't wait to come back!!!

The house is in a great location and the rec room is a good place for the kids to play. The manager is very prompt in answering texts and fixing any problems that may come up. We had a wonderful time at OIB!
