Blue Haven House (LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION), ‘A Home Away From Home’

Blue Haven House is a lovley home owned by even lovelier people. The location can't be beat.Wendy and Carey, thanks for your hospitality!

We stayed at Blue Haven House March 8-18 and there were 4 adults. This was the ideal place to stay for our first time visiting Barbados. We did not rent a car as everything you need is within walking distance. The house - it is immaculate, both indoors and outdoors. Carey and Wendy take such great pride in their home and it shows from the moment you open the front gate. We would highly recommend their house when staying near Rockley Beach. Kitchen - fully equipped. We cooked breakfast every day as well as the occassional evening meal.Beds - there are 3 bedrooms. Mattresses are firm. Extra beddng is supplied.Bathrooms - There are 2 and both have double sized tile showers. Lots of towels as well as beach towels. Patio - We got great use out of the covered patio. We enjoyed our early morning coffee and all our meals out there. Again, it's immaculate. Also, every evening after returning from our day at the beach or sightseeing, we would sit out there and enjoy the warm breeze that Barbados provides. Just arrived home to Canada and we are already missing it so much.Hosts - Wendy and Carey are very welcoming and are readily available to answer any questions you may have. They provided us with lots of suggestions. Even though we had just met them, by the time we left they felt like family. Thank you both for everything and helping to make our stay even more enjoyable! Wendy and Carey are lovely! They live on the property and are readily available, but if you don't like having the hosts close-by, this would not be ideal for you. AC was paramount and made the nights so comfortable, though if you want it lower than 23C, it seems to be programmed or controlled not to go lower. The facilities are beautiful! Kitchen, living room and bedrooms are all modern and comfortable. Towels galore, no need to bring those with you. The only thing to note, bring all your own soaps (including for the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry), paper towel and tissues, AND be prepared to either buy or request more toilet paper from the hosts. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this amazingly located space :)

It was 6 of us and we never felt cramped. The home is well built, spacious, and fully equipped. It was immaculately clean upon arrival. It’s situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, walking distance from everything. The hosts were lovely.

The property was immaculate and very well appointed. The hosts were very gracious and had thought about everything to make our stay comfortable. The location is great and felt very secure.

Carey & Wendy are not only great hosts, but great people. They helped make our stay one of the best trips to Barbados so far. Absolutely perfect house in a perfect location! Extremely clean and fully equipped. Plenty of clean shower and beach towels and access to a washer/drier.Comfortable, quiet and secure, we felt right at home and will definitely be coming back.

This was a superb spacious modern bungalow and spotlessly clean. Beds are very comfortable & air conditioning in the three bedrooms. It’s also within walking distance to the beach.The owners who live next door are lovely & are very helpful with any queries.I would definitely recommend this place & will definitely be returning with my family.

Carey and Wendy are fabulous people to work with. We've never been to Barbados and weren't sure what to expect. They put our minds at ease from the moment we arrived. They gave us info on things to do and places to eat. The house was extremely clean and was a perfect fit for my family. We were 2 minutes away from an amazing beach!! I highly recommend booking with Carey amd Wendy for your dream vacation.!!

We stayed for two weeks at Blue Haven and were very satisfied. Carey and Wendy were great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. We had great conversations with them. Buttons their dog is a gem and very friendly too. This spotless house fit our needs completely. It was modern, with the latest amenities and comfortable furniture. The house patio and garden were all well maintained, and we felt very comfortable and safe there. The location was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood which was five minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, shops, bus/taxis. Definitely our preferred place to stay on our trips to Barbados. Thanks Carey and Wendy. You were awesome.
