Simply a stunning, immaculately clean & welcoming property! Hosts were amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful and relaxing place so close to Lake Hickory NC. With a quiet and wonderful outdoor environment and pool, it was a great place for us to visit and only 10 minutes from downtown Hickory but it was a wonderful escape and the amenities were top notch. I’d highly recommend this place for a family getaway in a delightful area outside of the town. Loved our vacation there and our hosts have highest ratings for good reason.

What a beautiful spacious rental! The Soave was easy to navigate, spacious, well appointed, and beautiful! Would absolutely stay here again when we can enjoy the pool. The hosts were very responsive!

Linda anf Greg were great hosts! Our family experience was inviting and we were very close to downtown, restaurants, shopping, hiking, ski resorts. We had everything that we needed and more. We cant our hosts enough for an amazing stay.

The Blue Door Cottage is a wonderful get-a-way. The guesthouse is warm and inviting. The grounds are beautiful. The pictures on the site are on point. Our family enjoyed walking to see the neighbors' alpaca and horses. Would definitely recommend.

We loved staying at the Blue Door Guesthouse! Greg and Linda were wonderful hosts! Our daughter had the best time playing with their sweet Alpacas ( the girls) The location is excellent, only 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping but is in peaceful, beautiful setting. We had a great stay and will definitely be back again!

We were very impressed that everything we needed was there. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond what you would ever need. The beds were perfect and the home was relaxing. Thanks for letting us stay we will be back again

Wonderful, inviting perfect stay to celebrate with family in the Hickory area. Hosts were wonderful in communication availability and accommodations.

The property is lovely--we had everything we needed. The pool is beautiful as well. The owner allowed us to have extended family over for dinner which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the Hurricane knocked out power and phones were not working so hard to communicate. But we were safe at the house. I would stay again as the space is lovely.
