blacksmiths pet friendly beach house

Wonderfully restful break. We only stayed for two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer.For a large family with pets - perfect!

Another great stay at Blacksmiths Beach, great location, family and dogs loved it.

They place was as advertised but might need some updating. Opposite beach in quite area although neighbour ran some form of generator on several nights. Two house keys would have been handy when two families staying. Maybe consider a folder with details on Wi-Fi, bins and local places might be useful.

The place was everything we expected and more. Great location, big house with entertainment for kids and enough space for the adults. Host was amazing and easy to contact when needed. We had everything we needed and shops close by if we ran out. Would stay again and would definitely recommend.

Great, but the third toilet not in the bathrooms was not functioning, there was no body wash for the showers and minimal toilet paper. Otherwise plenty of space, great location and very secure garden for the dogs.

Great location and lovely host. We enjoyed our weekend escape from Sydney.

Janette was super welcoming and we were able to check in early so I could finish up my work. The beach house was very roomy, very clean and comfortable.

Amazing location and amenities. Just a walk across the road from the beach. The pool was refreshing, kids loved the arcade games and to top it off it is completely dog friendly. Overall amazing getaway for our Mum's 70th. Would stay again

Janette was lovely and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house was in a perfect location and suited our needs well. Cleanliness however could be improved within the kitchen and living area.

The property was great! There were 7 of us and it was very spacious. We loved how close it was to the beach! We went away for my mums 60th and she had the best time!

We had a fantastic family mini getaway! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was quiet and relaxing, just a short stroll to the beach, and the pool was a great bonus for both kids and adults. We loved that it was dog-friendly too — our pup had the best time! Janette made sure our check-in and stay went smoothly. Perfect spot for a peaceful family break.

Excellent location, lovely & clean pool, excellent communication with owners and great that they allowed pets. Can do with a new kitchen with more appliances and a door to the sleepout (curtains atm).

Our stay was very good. There were a few things unavailable due to things being not working but we managed to make do. The house was definitely large enough for everyone not to be on top of each other and the children (both little and big) had areas to play in. The ‘big’ kids were very happy to relive their childhoods with the pinball and arcade game machines. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed and the great sized fridge n freezer excellent for all our food and drinks. The beds comfortable and bedrooms sized fine. There was plenty of hot water and both showers good sizes. It was also helpful having under cover parking with access to house for unpacking in the rain. We stayed for 3 days in this property from a Friday - Sunday with a family of 6, made up of 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 6-15).This property had ample space to accommodate our group and the highlight was the great entertainment area (which had a pool table, pinball machine and arcade machine) and also a central location for day trips to the Hunter Valley (1 hour drive) and Newcastle (30 minute drive). It was also across the road from the beach which was nice for a morning run. The location is nice and quiet.The property itself has lots of character and charm and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. There is a carport for two vehicles to park off street. All bedrooms had split system air conditioning units. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls and cutlery and had a stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.We had a great stay and would recommend this property for larger families.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, well appointed and clean. The location, across the road from beach access, was perfect. And we especially loved the games room for a bit of family fun.It was also a great choice for our first holiday with our pup — the property felt very secure, which gave us peace of mind. The host was lovely and made everything easy. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fun family holiday! Really loved the pool and games room and such a great location right near the beach. The host was excellent and really looked after us when there was an issue with the power which was sorted very quickly.

The house was perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of room & lots of in house entertainment for rainy days. The location was perfect with the beach across the road & pub within walking distance

Was looking for a pet friendly accommodation with a pool , for our first family Christmas holidays with our dog . This holiday house had everything you could need and location to the beach was fantastic . Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

Excellent location straight across from beach. Plus inground pool and heaps of room. The property manager is a very lovely lady.

Family came from Canada for a wedding and were looking for holiday time at the beach. This was the ideal spot. Accross the street from beach, not far from McQuarry Lake, pub, bakery and groceries. Had a wonderful time. We also fished the surf, the break wall and entered the Lake Mac fishing derby. Had a great time.

We just returned from a 4 day break staying at this amazing house. Amazing location with the beach across the road. Perfect for our family, we didn't need to leave. From a games room with a pool table, pingpong table, arcade games,pinball machine to good selection of dvds and books. House is exactly as described, plenty of room, loved the 2 bathrooms, great outdoor undercover area with a BBQ next to the pool. Fully fenced yard, perfect for your furry family members to run around as well. Dogs beach right at your door step as well. Only downside to this house is we weren't there long enough! We will definitely be back.
