The Ranch boasts over 1,800 pristine acres of Oregon beauty, with a wealth of year round activities. We have recently added a private sauna for our guests to enjoy. We also offer 2 Paddle boards, 4 bikes and the corn hole game for our guests.

Stayed Jan 18, 2026Owners were responsive to our questions. The kitchen was very well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Rooms were crammed with furniture, giving the place a cramped feel. Three small loads tripped a circuit breaker at night, causing medical equipment to stop working. We reset the circuit breaker and moved things around, but this should not have happened. Would pick another property next time.

Stayed Aug 27, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at the Black Butte Mountain Retreat. The home was a good size for 4 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of fun toys for the grandkids and bikes, books, and games for the adults. We were amazed by the pool complexes, restaurants, horse stables and the gorgeous meadows and golf courses. We'll be back!

Stayed Jun 24, 2025We have traveled to many places, but I have to say that it’s hard to top Black Butte Ranch. It’s gorgeous, the house we stayed in was perfect, and the weather was second to none! I give it a 10/10 stay! Plenty to do in the ranch and nearby Sisters/Bend area. Though it’s over 2500 miles from our home in SC, we will be making the trip back to BBR as soon as we can. We loved it!
