Summary:

This is a split-level loft room with a queen bed and an additional single fold-out bed. Downstairs is the bathroom with shower, table with two chairs, easy chair, and a built-in seat under the stairs. Upstairs in the loft there's a queen bed and a reading nook with a lounge chair. The room has a small balcony looking out into the woods. The Inn is located right on the trails in Mazama allowing cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking from the door.

The Space:

Located upstairs in the main lodge, this is one of our recently renovated rooms. The loft layout gives the room a cabin feel with its separate sleeping area upstairs and space to relax downstairs. The room is equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. One of the chairs folds-out to make a comfortable one-person bed. Inn facilities include wifi, a pool, hot tub and clubhouse with lounge, yoga studio, offices and co-working space.

The Neighborhood:

MAZAMA

We are located right in the heart of Mazama very close to the Mazama Store and the Methow Trails trailhead (for great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails). In addition to the store with its great bakery and grocery, Mazama is home to the Goat’s Beard outdoor store (with mountain bike and fat bike rentals) and the Mazama Ski School for cross country ski hire and lessons. The new Mazama Public House is now open and is just a short walk. Please see our website for our seasonal activity guides with trail suggestions and more visitor info.

NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK

We are conveniently situated for easy access to the North Cascades and the trailheads to many of the Park's world-class hiking trails. It’s a 20 minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass and 30 minutes to Maple Pass trailhead. Great for beating the crowds and snagging a trailhead parking spot at peak seasons.

Getting Around:

Getting here: May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.

Getting Around: The location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.

Please note that the nightly rate varies with seasons and weekdays, please enter your proposed dates for an accurate quote (some listings may show an 'average price per night' when in fact if no dates are entered this is our minimum rate, we are working with our software providers to rectify this).

GROUP BOOKINGS

Please get in touch if you would like to reserve more rooms for a group event. The Inn can accommodate up to 40 guests, and we can also book nearby cabins and vacation homes for larger groups. We love Mazama and this was perfect for a quick overnight stay. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. Loved the selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate available in the room. The location was right behind the Mazama store, which was a nice treat! Staff was great when I called to request a couple of things prior to check in. It was a nice stay! Thank you!

Arrived at night. Property was easy to find. Coffee and breakfast available nearby (walkable). Comfortable bed. check-in was very easy and so was check-out. The cleanliness/tidiness. There was food on and under the sleeping mat on the lower level. There was hair on a few of the pillows. The coffee maker was dirty and there was water left in the hot water pot. I cleaned the coffee pot and we replaced the water in the water pot so neither was terrible but still not how I wanted to spend my time.

Clean room, comfy bed, but as others mentioned the downstairs bed is not ideal and there’s no closet, but there are wall hooks and a dresser. No one above or below you. Nice little balcony, good a/c, micro, fridg. This room does not have access to the bbq. but is right next to fun store/ coffee shop-great scones! Quaint lodge, pretty meadow in back. Enjoyed our stay!

The perfect get-away spot. Stayed for the R&B Festival. Close enough to enjoy the festival and far enough away to enjoy some peace and rest as well. Beautiful property and comfortable room.

The Inn at Mazama is perfectly located near the Mazama Store and some of the best trails for ski in/ski out cross-country trails. The room is clean, the bed super comfortable, and the shower has excellent water pressure. the room also has a tea kettle, fridge, and microwave. We used the kettle to make French press coffee, but a Keurig is available too. Note, like another guest commented, the bench underneath the stairs is not suitable for adults to sleep on unless they're really low maintenance since there isn't a mattress, just a bench cushion that is akin to a sleeping pad when camping. We didn't need it, so no matter! Thanks for a great stay!

The unit was nice and clean, but I was staying with my husband and father. We thought there'd be a small bed under the stairs with a mattress, but there was only a wood board and some extra bed linens. Luckily we brought a blow-up mattress to sleep on, and gave my dad the bed upstairs. This unit would be great for just a couple, or a family with one small child. Overall, everything else was as listed and we had a great stay in Mazama.
