Stayed Aug 6, 2024We stayed for 6 nights with people age 16 - 80. The cabin is very well stocked and nicely decorated. There are multiple outdoor seating areas and our favorite was the deck overlooking the lake. There is a large set of stairs down to the lake with a beautiful dock area. The one downside would be the access to the lake. There isn't a ladder into the water and the shore was quite rocky so older guests or people with mobility issues will have difficulty accessing the water. The rocks are large and slippery by the shore. The lake itself is very clean. There are a couple of sandbars that we visited with our rental pontoon. It is a big lake that was fun to explore.

Stayed Jul 8, 2024Things we loved: Well designed and stocked kitchen Extra refrigerator Multiple outdoor seating areas Comfortable mattresses on beds The “lily pad” on the lake The size and configuration of the dock: We could have 6 people fishing at once! Thoughtful decor Skylights make the cabin light and bright. Clean! Beautiful clear lake with entertaining boat traffic Things we learned: Bring water shoes to wear in the lake. Feet got cut on the zebra mussels. There are rocks on the shoreline. We had a 1 year old and 3 year old who missed sand to play in. We ended up going into Detroit Lakes to the city beach to give them beach time. The sliding door to get in and out was difficult for our “littles” to manage.
