Big Kahuna | Ocean Front, Pool, Elevator, Decks + Beach Access

Entire family enjoyed the house! Neighbors to the left had fireworks on their property and debris from including smoke came directly on us! Pool cleaners could have been more efficient. They came 3 days before we left. Otherwise beach was great, quiet most days!

Needs to be updated! Needs: more silverware and stemware. Under kitchen sink needs work. Water everywhere. Floors need to be redone. New construction next door. Now at 2nd floor. No shades in MBR bath. Workers can see right in. Sorry.....our 3rd time at Big Kahuna......so disappointing.

The entire family had a great time. We found everything in great working order. The management company was absolutely fantastic with any questions we had. The location is perfect, very peaceful and beautiful. Mornings on the beach, afternoons at the pool, evenings hanging out on the beautiful porch and more pool time. 10/10 recommend for families.

While pictures don't lie, the ones shown do not accurately show the condition of the property. Much of the furniture (couches and chairs need to be recovered or replaced--torn and stained), Many of the safety features seniors expect when renting property were not in this house. Examples: No grab bars in any of the showers, hand rail going down to the pool was very loose and unstable, there was no handrail going down the steps into the pool and no ladder to get out so anyone a little unstable on their feet would have trouble getting in and out of the pool, the pier to beach had a step and was not painted yellow so coming from the beach it was easy to miss this step down, the last step going to the beach was missing which meant a large step to get to and from the beach, the two story deck was very shakey especially if someone was on the top deck(I don't think it was attached to the house itself). As far as cleanliness, I cleaned all of the cooking utensils because they were sticky and greasy. The little draw in front of the main sink was full of dirty water--I didn't touch it. The fold out couch was full of sand and sand fleas. I was very disappointed in this property and would never rent it again. This was the most expensive and least well kept of the many ocean front places I have rented for our family vacation.

We had a few bumps (Wifi not working when we arrived, construction noises next door), but management company worked to resolve. House is great for large group. Pool is great. Private access to beach great. Nice that you can walk to Kure Beach pier and restaurants. Overall highly recommend.

The location of the house the set up is awesome we have enough room to spread out plenty of privacy plenty of family time together the house is amazing the realtor company the ladies were awesome to deal with this is the second time I’ve been in this house I will rent this house again

The house is beautiful and located on what feels like your own private beach. We had a great time and look forward to returning!
