Big House Few steps from the Beach.

House had the old Tybee feel that I enjoy. Property worked out well for a large family with all the bathrooms. Screen porch was excellent for large birthday group. Pool was clean and good for kids. Convenience to the beach next to the boardwalk was really good. Owner responded in a timely manner to my questions and checkin. Bikes were not usable. Much of the outside chairs and cushions were very dated. Although house was clean, it could use a deep cleaning in the cabinets and drawer under the oven. Crumbs were found. Roaches noticed in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. I know this is common for an older beach house so tried to overlook. Reached out to owner and she said place was just sprayed and he would return after we checked out.

Great for large families! Ground floor bathrooms/bedrooms/kitchen if this is something you need. SUPER close to beach- we would stay here again! Also one street over from the grocery store- this was truly the perfect location

Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with several aspects of the property, particularly regarding safety and maintenance concerns.Upon arrival and throughout our stay, we noticed multiple issues that made us uncomfortable, especially traveling with children. Several doors did not latch properly, the gates around the property were unsecured, and there was even what appeared to be a bullet hole in one of the windows. These conditions caused significant concern for the safety and security of our family.Additionally, the overall condition of several amenities was disappointing. The bed pillows were of very poor quality and uncomfortable, the outdoor chairs were rusted, and the grill was both rusted and broken. We also observed extension plugs hanging from the wall, which created another potential safety hazard for children. The outdoor shower was also not functioning and did not even appear to be properly hooked up.We understand that occasional maintenance issues can arise, but the number and seriousness of these concerns significantly impacted our experience and did not meet the expectations set by the listing.We felt it was important to bring these matters to the property owner’s attention, so they can be addressed promptly for future guests, but the owner didn’t respond, so we warn future families to beware. I do not like leaving bad reviews but people need to know what they are getting. Hopefully they fix what we told the host what was wrong before anyone else stays.

Great location! Lots of space for everyone. The pool is great. It is an older home so it has some charm- don’t expect perfection. But it has the Tybee charm!

Ours trip celebrating 50th birthday and Mothers Day was great. The house was perfect for out group. Ana was very quick responding to emails. The set up of the house was nice and we really enjoyed the upper porch. Weather was not the kindest for us to enjoy the pool..

They made everything so easy and it was such a great house and trip.

This house was beautiful and very spacious!!! Super clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Just a block away from the grocery store too! The owner responded to my inquiries very quickly! So close to the beach! Absolutely worth it! We wished we could have stayed longer!Thank you for everything Ana! You are awesome!

This is a wonderful house for a large family. It’s only a very short walk to the beach. We loved our stay here!

The house was great for our low key vacation! Location to the beach was so nice. The host was so very prompt to our requests and made it easy for us to have a great vacation!

The host was very communicative, left plenty of towels, the house was clean, bright and a top notch location. I loved all of the space to spread out and relax. We were within walking distance of restaurants, and just steps from the beach.

Beach access was great. Also access to all that Tybee has to offer. Perfect for my son’s bachelor weekend. The pool was wonderful and bedroom and bath layout was convenient. The host took a couple of days to answer my question but that turned out to be not problematic. The only problem we had was the guys planned to cook out at the home, which was listed to have a gas grill. However, the gas grill was in such bad shape and so dirty that they could not use it. They had all the groceries and no way to grill them, so a little grill maintainence would have been great. But overall, their trip was awesome and we would book this place again.

Location location location! Loved having our family here - plenty of space to spread out and have our own spaces as well as common spaces. We did not have the best weather but due to the location we were able to explore places quickly and walk when we had breaks in the weather. Thank goodness for the amenities that allowed us to be comfortable even when stuck inside!

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our group! You can't beat the location being just steps to beach access. The private pool also makes this house stand out from the others. Anna was a great host and quickly responded to all of my questions which was really appreciated.The house had everything we needed, even a few beach chairs and towels. 4 star review mostly since some of the bath towels & bed linens were a bit cheesy.

Upon arrival, we had to sweep entire house. I must say this was the dirtiest house i have ever stayed in. TV did not work in two of the bedrooms. Toilet in large downstairs BR very loose. Lots of maintenance needed. The dirtiest place. I would not stay again.

The location, size of this property and communication with the host was excellent. Due to a plumbing issue from the previous occupants we weren’t able to get in until a day after we were supposed to but the host was super responsive and tried her best to make up for it. Once we were in the home my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it was longer.

Plenty of room. Great access to the beach. Nice bathrooms. Nice small pool for the toddler. Close to grocery store. Very pleasant. Had a minor plumbing problem that was dealt with quickly.

We had an amazing trip! Everything is as shown and it was very easy to communicate with Ana. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful home in a great location. One of our best rentals in Tybee and we have been many times.

As other reviews have stated, the property needs a good cleaning and some other TLC. That said, it was ideal for our multi-generational family gathering with its great access to the beach, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and comfortable spaces to come together, both indoors and outdoors. You'll need your own hairdryers (there's only 1 that we found) plus basics like kleenex & lotion. Note to owner/manager: larger groups need more towels and please check the property before arrival; the leaking shower head with a broken handle didn't just happen. We had a great time and the comfortable house made us feel at home.

We had a AWESOME time the house was great. Lost of room the upstairs porach was a hit with myfriends they loved it. Yes i would recomend this property for sure.
