Big Bird -7br-Oceanfront-Heated Pool-Elevator

The Big Bird house is fantastic! It has beautiful views of the ocean from multiple decks, private access to the beach, and a private pool. My family could not find anything we didnt like about the house or location. The host responded quickly to my inquiries, and made the entire process seamless. This experience was absolutely perfect!Cannot wait to do it again next year.

The house was wonderful, perfect location and amenities. The pool was perfect when we were tired of the beach. The space was plenty - we all had a great time!

We had an enjoyable stay at Big Bird. We stayed with our family members and our two young children. It was very convenient having a bathroom for almost every bedroom. The beach access was great and we also enjoyed the pool. The beds were all very uncomfortable. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty and needs to be organized. Considering the price, we were disappointed that the kitchen was not cleaner, there were no shower products provided and only a very small Dial hand soap at each sink. For the price point, we expected fresh linens in every bathroom, shower products provided, nice hand soaps at every sink, and a clean kitchen that was better stocked/organized. Overall, the home was mostly clean. The home owner was very friendly and helpful and responsive to messages. If the house were just a little more clean and well-stocked, we would definitely come back again. The beach location was great, not very crowded, and we really enjoyed being able to walk straight on to the beach (especially since we have young kids). The owner also provided an included service company that brought chairs and umbrellas and set them up for us every day. That was great and very helpful! If you are looking for a massive house with tons of bathrooms and plenty of space to spread out, this is the one! Be aware parking is very minimal. We were able to park 3 compact/mid size SUVs. The two garages are not usable as one is locked for the owner storage and the other was full of stuff.

Large, beautiful home that has been very well-maintained. Comfortable beds. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything easy. In our group, we had 10 adults and 3 children, and the property was large enough that we all had plenty of space without crowding etc other. Would absolutely stay here again.

My family had a great stay here for a week. The house had everything we needed and we loved the heated pool and beach access. Everything was clean upon our arrival and Jim quickly responded to any questions we had.

This home far exceeded our expectations. Very clean, high quality home in a beautiful and quiet location. The interior was so clean and well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals and there was plenty of seating in the kitchen area and living room. Check in was simple and communication with the owner was timely. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Many thanks for everything!!

It was a great place to stay, nice view of the ocean. The house was spacious and nice layout, Mr. Jim was awesome to work with if i messaged him about something he got back to me in no time. Will definitely visit this home again. Money well sent everyone had a great time!

Kure Beach is our favorite spot! This a an amazing property right on the beach with beautiful views from the pool and inside living area. The host was so kind and communicative! We would definitely stay at one of his properties again!

Did a Friday to Monday stay. 14 adults. it was a big place and we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. The house is Beautiful! and the owner responded fairly quickly when I asked him questions. Really appreciate his time and kindness. We were able to fit 7 cars in the drive way and one in the garage. we loved it so much we plan on coming back again in the future. thank you so much!!!

Great house and location. Walking distance to Kure Pier. 5 min drive to Ft Fisher and the Aquarium. Plenty of space for a large group. Pool was cleaned 3 times a week. Walkway to the beach.

Great place for large family vacation. Jim, the host was great, attentive but not overbearing. Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Very clean place with plenty of space. The views were so nice and the morning sunrise there was priceless. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots pans and utensils for cooking. Grill worked great. The deck furnitufe was awesome. Just an overall great place
