Between The Lakes! 5 Bedrooms

The home was perfect for our family Christmas vacation as we came together traveling from Texas and Georgia. It was so roomy for our large group (and dogs) with brand new & comfy furniture, beds, appliances and bathrooms (stocked with everything we could possibly need). The views were absolutely stunning, especially overlooking the docks at sunset. It was so peaceful at the home yet about 30 minute drive to the French Quarter and 15-20 minutes to Slidell. Plenty of parking available under the house and on gravel driveway (the owners gave us heads up to park there as it’s a lakefront property & will be muddy when it rains). The owners were very responsive & friendly and gave us some great recommendations. We made great memories here and would stay again!

We were a party of 5 adults attending a wedding. Over the 3 day stay there was not enough water pressure to do anything. No showers, barely enough water to wash your hands. No one could shower, the women could not do their hair, for a wedding. The host did visit to try and fix the problem but was unsuccessful. He acknowledged there was too much sand in the well. He agreed to give us a refund and I was willing to settle for 50%. Unfortunately he is not a man of his word and no refund was given. I have the text conversation and videos of the lack of water to prove all of this.

There is simply no better rental property in the area within 30 miles. A real hidden gym - I seriously debated about not sharing this review :) to keep it “hidden”, but it’s simply too amazing not to share. The hosts were amazing and incredibly accommodating as well. Whether visiting New Orleans, Slidell, Bay St. Louis or anywhere along the Louisiana/Mississippi Gulf Coast, you won’t find a better property.
