Stayed Oct 20, 2023We had a good stay yet there's feedback we'd like to provide to improve future experiences. With the warmer weather coming in Oct, ants begin to come out, kindly supply a spray as the one there was empty, thankfully we bought a tea tree spray which helped. It was difficult to BBQ outdoors, as there was no light to see what you were cooking over the BBQ. This small improvement would amplify the preparation experience. We couldn't understand why the outdoor blinds remote was not supplied. It was one of the major reasons we chose your property, so reviewing this fact later was disappointing. The Kitchen did not have many essentials, salt was mixed with pepper, so unusable with children. There was no sugar, 2 small bushels coffee packets and no tea at all. It's a nice touch when properties have small helpful basics. We expected a CCTV camera out the front of the property, yet we noticed one in the backyard verandah. This was unexpected and felt invasive. Thank you for the heating & cooling, as outlined, very comfortable, so too the beds and furniture. The kitchen was beautiful and convenient to cook in, with good lighting, ample pots, crockery, utensils and great games for after dinner play.

Stayed Nov 19, 2023We are 6 adults (between 30 and 90 y.o.) and this property was our home for four nights in November 2023. The cleanliness of the toilets/bathrooms and the linen supplied was exceptionally good. The beds were super comfortable; the equipment in the kitchen were of a very good quality and sufficient for a our needs, as were the tableware and cooking utensils. The privacy in this house was so good that we could keep all the blinds open and view the beautiful outdoors. Of course, the weather was magnificent, and we spent a fair amount of time in the comfortable outdoor entertainment area. We would highly recommend this for families that are looking to spend a relaxing time together. We hope to go back there next year.

Stayed Oct 13, 2022Nice heap home with heaps of room for our group. The weather unfortunately didn't allow us to take full advantage of thinks like the fire pit or outside verandah. Home was well appointed with all things we needed. As we had limited transport the home is a little remote from hotels, shopping and the like.

Stayed Apr 8, 2022We didn’t enjoy it. We have to clean all the house before leaving and empty all the bin, but we still need to pay for a cleaning service. All the appliances haven’t been checked some of appliances haven’t worked at all.

Stayed Jan 24, 2021A really good house plus a self contained unit on the back for 10 of us. It has everything that we need. 5 minutes drive to the main shop and the beach which is so convenient. Jade is a property manager is really helpful. If we ever go back to Phillip Island again, this house would be on our first choice.

Stayed Dec 28, 2020We really enjoyed our stay at Bethels by the sea. We were a group of 3 families, with young kids and the property was perfect for our needs. There is a decent size yard out back with deck / dining table / lounge perfect for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. The inside of the house has actually been renovated since the photos and the property exceeded our expectations. A lot of the furniture and fixtures seemed to be brand new. The house was very clean and tidy and functional. The self contained unit is a great addition, and is also very clean and tidy. It’s nice and quiet and seperate from the main house if you’re needing a quiet place. The house is in a good location, not in the hustle and bustle of Cowes but only a 10 min drive to either Cowes or San Remo if you need to go. A coffee van and bottle shop a short walk away. And walking distance to a surf beach which is much less crowded then other popular ones. Would definitely recommend this house if you’re traveling to Phillip island. Also the property manager is very easy to communicate with and reply’s quickly to any queries we had.
