Best Little Orr House | Waterfront + Private Pool!

We liked the location, the proximity to the beach and fishing was great, the layout of the house and the pool were excellent. Unfortunately, the house needs major updates and pest control service. There were cockroaches in beds, underneath furniture and in kitchen area. Master bath downstairs toilet is not seated correctly on the floor and wobbles. Many items did not work such as the dryer in laundry room, the microwave in upstairs kitchen, and the mini fridge in downstairs master bedroom. The bedding was outdated. The armoire and closets were often full with household items and not useable by guests. The house has so much potential but needs attention.

We loved it the A/C. Worked great! It was a family vacation. Very roomy. Only 2 things I could never lock the upstairs doors and I could not find a broom. No gas grill as advertised. But over all very pleasant and clean

Every year for Mother's Day weekend we do a family/friends trip to the coast. The house was on a quiet waterfront street with beautiful views. It isn't a far drive from town and the beach. We had a great time!

Parking is a very tight fit, had to park all the way to the front door to fit 4 vehicles! Pool is definitely on the smaller side. Felt like we were being harrassed by the karen of a neighbor in the peach house next door! She was cursing at the kids cause they picked up a small rock and threw it in the water and apparently it was on her side of the property that they picked it up from, not realizing the property across by the water belongs to individual owners. If we were outside. She was outside,whether it was front or back. She made sure you knew she was watching. When we were hanging out back while kids were in the pool, she had her dog between our fence and her home and he just was constantly barking the whole time, but any other time, the dog was inside. These neighbors hate that this home is rented out and theyre sure to show you or let you know. Very uncomfortable. As far as the home,the furniture could use some updating. The washer and dryer are in the main bedroom downstairs, thats odd. We had minor cleaning issue, one restroom had hair in it, the front of the fridge was dirty,. I couldn't get the tv on in the king room downstairs. We tried to make the best of it. I did enjoythe front deck/patio area..

It was as advertised, comfortable relaxing very quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed with family and grandkids.

The property itself was in a really good spot. If it wasn’t for the extreme Karen next door. We would consider staying again. But she ruined it for everyone. She called the cops multiple times because the kids were enjoying their vacation playing in the water and fishing. She was a terrible nightmare! The office was great. There were some cleaning issues and we could never get in the downstairs door, even after the polite maintenance guy “fixed” it. It locked randomly, so we would have to go around back to get in. But everything else was pretty good.

Overall our trip went well. The host let us check in a couple hours early which was very appreciated. Unfortunately, after getting settled we started finding some pretty gross issues from lack of cleaning; clumps of hair on the walls of the shower and cockroach type bugs lurking around. Oddly, the water was shut off to the property for a short time, but the host made up for it by giving us a nice gift card to a local restaurant. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space was very spacious. The location was pretty good, however, be careful about where you go around the property and near the water/dock - residents yelled at us multiple times and were confrontational about what was private property (scared our children). Be aware - the closest neighbor’s dogs barked constantly all day and all night… Overall great value it was a great value for the price we paid and the size of our group!

Views were great. Checkin process/email should include the address for the property mgmt office as well as the available alternative to the inaccessible pier. I had to call and only when inquired I was told that we could use another pier. I believe it will be great to include such information with the checkin email at least until the pier gets fixed.

A bit disappointed with the cleaning less of the house. Pool was not clean and poor patio/yard maintenance. Found roaches all over the house, even inside dishwasher ( with clean dishes) Not enough towels and trash garbage containers full of previous guests trash. Trash every where in the house. When we arrive cleaning crew was still cleaning hot in till 4:30. Will not recommend this property to nobody. Very expensive too

Over all, the house was clean, but ants in the kitchen and saw one roach like bug in upstairs bathroom. Yard was not maintained (weeds, construction materials). Up-stair door sticks and is hard to open.
