Tucked on a quiet little lake, Berkshire Lake Hideaway is a cozy 3BR/3BA cottage sleeping 6 (7 w/ child) — minutes from Sheffield center, 10 min to Great Barrington. Kayaks & paddle boards for the lake, a screened porch and fire pit for evenings, and a hammock for doing nothing at all.

The main floor is bright and open, built for gathering. A comfortable living room anchors the space, with a cozy sitting and reading room just off of it — a quiet spot for a book, tucked away from the main seating area. A good-sized formal dining room offers a proper spot for sit-down meals, and the well-appointed kitchen looks directly out over the lake, making even the cooking feel like part of the view. Just off the kitchen, a screened-in porch overlooks the water — the natural home for morning coffee or an evening spent with the bugs kept firmly outside. The primary bedroom is also on this floor, offering easy, no-stairs access, with a large en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. A second full bathroom on this level, with both a tub and shower, rounds out the ground floor.

Upstairs, two more bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower. One has a queen bed; the other is set up for flexibility, with two twin beds — one of them a trundle that tucks a third, additional twin bed away underneath, perfect for kids or extra guests. The House is a short drive to Catamount & Butternut for skiing. A true Berkshires escape.
