Stayed Jul 5, 2023We loved the property so much - the scenery is beautiful and the house is so clean and cosy. Perfect for a getaway for 2 families. Dogs loved the fenced yard and we had a fire every night. Carolyn and Dave were lovely and very responsive. Will be back.

Stayed Apr 7, 2021This house is in a beautiful location. The views are wonderful and the verandas very inviting. It was a little frustrating for us because we couldn’t access the river due to recent rains flooding the area between the house and the river and very long grass, but the house itself was very cosy and dry. The house is comfortable but a few things could be better. For example, there were no bowls suitable for cereal or soup/pasta and the mugs need replacing. There were no working lighters or matches and limited wood was provided, although we had enough to have a fire in the fire pit on 2 of our nights which was lovely. We had to change a few lightbulbs which did not work. There is no wifi and limited cellphone service. Some information about local walks and picnic areas would have been useful. (Be aware that the description of the house has in very tiny letters that linen is not provided. We did not notice that and so did not come prepared with sheets and towels. Make sure you check this when you book). On the whole I would recommend this property for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Make sure you go outside at night and turn out the house lights and experience the spectacular night sky!

Stayed Oct 5, 2020We stayed at the homestead for three nights with our family. It was perfect! It had everything we needed. It was very clean and beautifully styled. The view was spectacular and we loved walking around the property and relaxing on the deck. Perfect getaway for adults and kids. Carolyn was so helpful and easy to communicate again. We would love to come back again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a wonderful peaceful spot for a well needed rest . We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bemurrah Homestead with everything we needed at our fingertips. Beds were very comfy & we loved the large covered deck overlooking the river. My favorite time was to sit by the river at dusk and watch the platypus. Perfect spot for Kayaking, swimming and fishing. This was our second stay and we will definitely visit again ! Great for family gatherings.
