Beautifully Renovated Lodge with Lakeview

Home was cleaned and readied for us on time. Generous amenities: coffee, laundry, linens, towels, minimal cleaning to do on check out - made the stay even more relaxing. Host was exceptionally responsive, helpful and pleasant, acting on any of our requests quickly. The views from the living room...gorgeous. Enjoyed the peaceful setting with abundant wildlife to enjoy (deer, fawns, birds). Would stay again!

The house has a perfect layout for enjoying family and friends. The views are beautiful and the communication is excellent. We will stay again!

House and location were exactly as described. More than enough room for our group and the kids enjoyed all the extras like games and game room.

House was great our ski week at Bristol. Also, the owners were very responsive to a few questions we contacted them for, but most resonsive when they contacted us within the half hour of check out to let us know we had left a few valuables behind! Thank you John/Jasmine and cleaning staff!

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge! This house has something for everyone. We loved watching the deer in the yard each morning and enjoying the peace and tranquility of this location. The view of the lake is fantastic! We enjoyed the hot tub and game room quite a bit. Property is beautiful - but not like a museum where you are anxious to settle in. Definitely a great property to visit with kids - the few imperfections of the property mean the owners aren't the kind looking to charge you for normal respectful use of their home, you can just come and relax. We had an issue with the hot water not working but the owner replied instantly and the issue was resolved in minutes. Thank you! Only complaint is that the listing says there is a fireplace which is part of why we selected this location for a winter getaway. It wasn't until we received the check in information we learned the fireplace is not operational. I would definitely encourage the owners to switch it out for a gas or electric insert or remove it as an amenity as it was a bit misleading. We were able to enjoy the outdoor gas fire pit in the deck which was lovely. Overall so happy we stayed here and are already planning our next trip back! Nice hill for sledding, nice sun room with a desk to work or do a puzzle which is what we used it for. Thank you for a perfect weekend. I can't stress enough how wonderful it was watching the wildlife here.

Beautiful location and views

Rented the cabin for a bachelorette trip and It was perfect. The house was exactly as listed, honestly it was bigger than we thought, and VERY clean. Owner’s communication was fantastic. Would highly recommended to everyone. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Fantastic setting and home for our book club winter getaway. The view is just amazing and the house designed with so many windows that we were able to watch the deer and birds all weekend long. The house allowed ample space for us to lounge, play games, assemble puzzles, work on crafts, and even cook together. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing and deer didn’t seem to mind it either. We had the added bonus of being there during the Fire and Ice Festival so just a 5 minute drive to the quaint village of Canandaigua and we enjoyed seeing ice sculptures, a variety of animals, exploring the shops, and tastings at a couple breweries. Would definitely go back!

We rented this awesome house for an early family Thanksgiving. It gave us plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The house is in a beautiful location. Very peaceful to and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the deer roam through the yard. John is very accommodating and quick to respond to all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Our ladies group booked the lodge for a 3 night retreat and fell in love with the view of the Lake, and the deer who were in the yard every day. There was a hiccup with an amenity not working, but the owner was very responsive and promptly took care of the matter. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals, and the home was clean and comfortable with lots of room for all. We very much enjoyed the propane fire pit on the deck, and the throw blankets provided were a thoughtful perk. The two large leather sofas with pillows were very comfortable for our tv time. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Owners provided lots of great activities and the house worked super well with two families with young kids. Would definitely return. Only knock was some of the house was a bit run down/lived in. In fairness we were at the end of the season, it didn’t ultimately take much away. Beautiful sunrises!
