Beautifully appointed suite is on a gorgeous, secluded, quiet Oceanfront street

Lovely place to stay for a few nights in a great location by the beach. Had everything I needed for a short trip . The owners were quick to respond and had a few things in the fridge for us when we arrived - very thoughtful.

Very comfortable. Close to the ocean and an easy 20 min drive to downtown Victoria. Lovely place to sit outside looking at our host’s beautiful garden.

Beautiful clean suite in a wonderful location. Comfortable bed. Hosts were very helpful and provided nice extra touches such as croissants and fruit. An upgrade on the bedding to breathable cotton would have made it perfect.

This venue is wonderful. We felt totally at home. The bed was comfortable as were the easy chairs. The hosts even provided breakfast on the first morning. The entire yard is beautifully groomed and we were welcome to enjoy it. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Heating inadequate. Outside lighting sporadic. Toilet seat broken. Furniture flawed and substandard. Needed to keep the blinds closed so as not to be seen from the street iUnterior lighting disconnected. View of the ocean not possible from a basement persspective. It was a studio not a 1 bedroom. The hosts were lovely people but not up to fixing the in floor heating etc, Partial refund.....requested.

Beautiful place, great price. Quiet, even with owners upstairs. Beautiful gardens in the back. Short walk to see the sea. Some croissants and jam on the first morning, very nice. No AC, but the room was cool. we did bring a fan however. Only suggestion would be to provide 1-2 of those foldable luggage racks so we could live out of the suitcases since there was not a large chest of drawers to unpack into. Would definitely stay again, longer.

A beautiful, unique area, a botanist’s dream. Small walk to the sea. Full laundry access. No oven, one burner type stove. Comfortable bed. Shower, no bath. A basement suite. Good privacy.

The property was very clean and very comfortable. The communication with owner was very good. For welcome gift we got croissant, milk , cream and a soap. The surrounding area is beautiful. Across the street is the ocean. One morning I saw a sea lion swimming. I would go back any time.

We received everything that was listed. There were no surprises. Great setup, beautiful views.

Very well equipped with everything you need for the stay. It was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was super quiet, but had everything you would need ... from coffee in the morning (at Moka) to beers at the pub (smugglers Cove.) This is the perfect place to stay when you want to avoid the super touristy downtown, but still only be a short drive or cab ride away. We will definitely stay here again 😁

Great location! The area is very safe and quiet and I felt secure with the hosts right next door. Parking was off the street. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There are several stairs both up and down to enter the suite, so those with mobility issues may find this difficult. Kitchen has one hotplate, a microwave and a toaster.

The hosts were excellent- thinking of our needs and communicating with us as needed- not too much or too little!We had our first breakfast food waiting for us, as well as snacks for our stay. The kitchen and the whole studio was beautifully furnished, and the area around the location was beautiful.

Our hosts, Joan and Dennis, were wonderful. Can't see how they could improve. The amenities they provide are also first rate. We have zero complaints, and nothing but praise.

Fabulous ! Our living area was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly, helpful and very hospitable.

The suite is exactly as shown in the listing. The property is comfortable and has a private entrance. The hosts were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and navigation information. The hosts even supplied croissants, fruit, butter, jam and beverages for our first morning's stay. We felt safe there and the location is quiet. I would definitely recommend this suite.

We were staying in Victoria for a conference that my wife was attending at the University of Victoria. This property is about a 10 minute drive from U.Vic., so very convenient. We discovered that the neighbourhood was quiet and a great place to go for walks and runs through. The property come fully equipped with everything we needed. There is outdoor space for guests to use adjacent to an amazing garden. We only met up with the host when we arrived, and when we departed, but were very pleasant to chat to. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite is roomy for 2 people and was meticulously clean. The back patio was a lovely outdoor space and the hosts garden is beautiful. The location was easy to get to and also easy to drive into Victoria and surrounding areas. We would love to stay here again.

This place is fantastic. It is located in a breathtaking and peaceful neighborhood. We were able find some geocaches will exploring the neighborhood. Our hosts Dennis and Joan were great and the place was very cozy. We highly recommend this place.

We needed a place to stay as my daughter who lives nearby was having house renovations. This location is great if you are visiting family members at U. Vic.

Nice location away from the city, but close enough to drive in each day. Short walks to nearby tranquil beaches. Great communication, quiet apartment, comfortable bed, and well stocked for making meals. Highly recommend!

Very clean home with many extra special touches such as breakfast treats, homemade soap, and a beautiful back yard garden.

Our host were absolutely marvelous! We couldn’t have been happier with the suite. They went above and beyond in making sure our every need was met. Accommodations were spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated. We had her own patio that looked out over the gorgeous garden.. The neighborhood was wonderful, convenient to shopping/restaurants, quiet, safe, and about a block from the beach. We went downtown Victoria several times and it was a simple commute. We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful neighborhood away from the crowds, it was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend making this your “home away from home” when traveling to Victoria ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay here. The managers were incredible to work with. We left a bag of clothes in a closet and they boxed them up and shipped them to us! We highly recommend this place. It's peaceful, quiet, very close to the Salish sea and very well equipped. We will be back!

Dennis and Joan’s place was wonderful, the description of the property was spot on. We enjoyed sitting at the water’s edge at sunset just a short walk from the house. Walking the forested neighborhood was a delight. We also rode our bicycles on two rides 30 miles (48km) and 40 miles (64km), Victoria is truly a bicycle friendly city. Dennis and Joan were gracious hosts and we highly recommend their place.

Wonderful studo appt for my friend and I to stay while exploring Victoria and surrounding area. Owners were wonderful. Lovely little patio to drink morning coffee on.
