This beautiful five bedroom, five bath home is located in the historic Wranglers Roost, (listed on the national register of historic places). Wranglers Roost was a stage coach stop in the late 1800’s and then built as a resort in 1930. We have preserved much of the history and you can enjoy the same atmosphere that early travelers saw when they arrived on the stagecoach. The home has been renovated while still keeping the old time Western flavor of the original property.

Stayed Mar 19, 2026We really liked this place.Check-in/out was very easy. Great communication with the host.The hot tub was nice. Warm when we turned it on, otherwise lukewarm.There were some issues, like bugs in the house, low water pressure in the showers, and it was very dusty, but we figured that was just because it's Arizona. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the pool because the water was very cold and it didn't appear the filter was working. The owner put the vacuum in the pool the second day we were there and left it there for the rest of our stay, but the water was still too cold for us.Overall, a pleasant stay in a really interesting place. The comment all of the guests kept making was that it was just a really interesting property. I'd recommend it to history buffs and folks who like a unique location.

Stayed Mar 23, 20264 guys stayed for a golf trip. Plenty of room to spread out and the porches were great for enjoying an early morning and late afternoon. Great trip.

Stayed Mar 7, 2026Wrangler's Roost was a fun throwback to the Old West with the comfort of modern amenities. Our only complaint about the property was that we never could get the hot water to work properly. It seemed like either one side of the property had it and the other didn't. The hosts were gracious to come and work on it, but it never got fixed while we were there. However, if the hot water had not been an issue, this would have been a great experience for us.

Stayed Mar 25, 2023Wrangler's Roost was a wonderful place to stay in New River. We were a group of guys on a golf trip and the place was perfect with it's two well-stocked kitchens, outdoor washrooms and lots of space. It can be summed up as character. Lots of hokey stuff around the grounds and it's seen it's day, but it was very clean and well taken care of. The host, Heidi, was also very responsive and a pleasure.
