BEAUTIFUL WATERFRONT HOME WITH BOATHOUSE AND HUGE PORCHES!

Great camp for large groups.

The home is amazing! You don’t need to bring a thing with you. The kitchen, completely full, I mean completely. The exterior is magnificent. Great sitting areas, upstairs and down . The added game room is a plus and the large ice making machine — WOW! There’s more room to park than you find at some stores. Our host, Tonia, super nice. Had to reach out to her for a couple of questions and she responded quickly and always sounded concerned. She made sure we were having a grand time.

This is a beautiful home that was immaculatelyClean! We were 12 adults and filled all 6 bedrooms. There is so much room to relax and visit or play games - or split off into groups. Both porches have seating areas. Then there's the large table and big chairs at the boathouse. The game room for playing cards. Or building a puzzle. Or foosball. Or playing pool. So many options!Now let's talk about how this home is stocked! Kitchen: seasonings, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, dishes, dishes, dishes! Plenty of utensils. Pots for every need we had. Kitchen trash bags, laundry detergent (for both washing machines on each floor) and dishwashing detergent. Propane burner with boiling pot to cook crabs and shrimp! Pellet grill to cook our steaks! All provided by our hosts! Oh and crab traps- they were used and did catch some right there at the back of the house but we still had to buy some. Large commercial ice machine. Plenty of parking. I've never stayed in a rental with so much to offer! Tonia was always only a phone call away and so extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place. Top notch! Thank you Tonia for making our annual sibling weekend so easy and relaxing.

This house is amazing! Booked this house specifically for the boat slips and canal access, but there is so much more to this than a fish camp. There are so many well thought out extras that helped make our stay worth so much more. Boat slips, ice machine, game room, 2 refrigerators, crawfish boil equipment, fish frying equipment, pellet grill, many TV's all hooked up to DirecTV. Many appliances in the kitchen that are not normally found in VRBO rentals, crock pot, blender, rice cooker, electric griddle. The bedrooms are set up for multiple families with children, or a guys fishing trip, like we had. There were plenty of bathrooms. The feature I think we liked the best was the open patio area by the boat house. We spent the majority of our time right there. The host was very thorough in the welcome email packet. Any questions I had were answered by reading that paper. She checked in on us the first night to make sure every thing was working ok, and again mid trip. We will be back.

The house was absolutely perfect, and communication for check in and check out was very easy.

Host is a very good communicator - helpful every step of the way!! House is outstanding!! Every possible accommodation/accessory for a Hackberry fishing camp. Very private and well maintained. First class all of the way - we'll definitely be back!!!

Tonia is always the best host. The home is welcoming and well stocked. I would have to say the kitchen is prepared for people who want to cook! We love coming to this location out of everywhere we go.

Could not have been better for the 5 couples that were there. Plenty of space indoors and out. All the cooking utensils and grills that we needed. We are seriously considering getting the house for next years big chill. Most times we have 13 at least. Thanks for the easy response to my questions and the efficient way my stay was handled.

Fantastic space for family reunion! We were able to gather together in the beautiful kitchen or downstairs patio. We were able to visit in quieter, smaller groups on porch or in game room. Everything was great including the communication with our host. I really can’t say enough about the beautiful home on the water, peaceful location, amazing sunrise & sunset views….I plan to meet with family there again next year!

Excellent property with plenty of space and activities for a larger group. Host was very responsive with a A/C issue and it was handled quickly. Would recommend and will likely return of another trip.

Great amenites. Canal was perfect for kids crabbing. Boathouse held my 18ft skiff well. We had a great time. Will do this again!

We pulled up by boat ciming in from Galveston and were really surprised hiw big and nice the house and property was. We had an awesome time and really enjoyed ourselves

We are 5 seniors who completed high-school together in 1974. For the past 30 years plus we have had an annual reunion with VRBO. We have never had a more wonderful time than at the beautiful Gulfway House. It was very clean, so many amenities, spacious. It is the best of the best vacation rentals. We had so much fun in all the spaces especially the game room spaces. It’s a place for everyone and any occasion. Highly recommended!!

This was for our son’s bachelor weekend!! The guys had a great time and really enjoyed the property!! Can’t wait to go again!

Stayed here for a hunting trip with 5 other guys. Plenty of space. Very clean. All the amenities you could ask for. Tonia was awesome. Best host I’ve had to date. Easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

We have Texas and Louisiana Family . The House was a perfect gathering space for us for 3 nights . Plenty of room ,very clean and everything we needed to cook a cajun style Thanksgiving . Tonia was great to communicate with and always available . We will be renting in the future.

This is our 3rd time to stay at this home. It's huge but still feels like home. The place has everything you could possibly need. Definitely coming back
