Beautiful Waterfront Home On Lake Anna

Well equipped getaway!

Check-in was easy and the host was communicative. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking accessories. The group of 5 women LOVED the seating space, which fit everyone comfortably. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the water view, then moved to the fire pit once the chill set it. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the space. I reached out to the host, who apologized for the mess we walked into. We understand that it was the off season (early November) and probably hadn't had someone in there since the end of summer, but there were spiderwebs throughout the house in the corners, fan blades, and under the tables. The countertops had also not been wiped cleaned, and there were crumbs and sticky residue on the countertops; the bathroom sinks and tubs hadn't been wiped out of hair. While the sheets were clean and provided in bags for each bedroom, the mattress pads and pillow case covers don't appear to have been washed in some time. We would love to return to this house as the setup and layout is great for large groups; however, the cleanliness is a lot to be desired.

Very nice house with a lot of amenities and a well equipped kitchen. We weren’t able to take advantage of the kayaks due to timing and a chill in the air but it would be an enjoyable available activity. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

The kitchen was well equipped, the living area was very comfortable with lots of seating and we appreciated the access to the canoe and kayaks.

Great team outing as always! We have stayed here for the past several years for our team building outing with my whole department. We always have a blast and the house and property are top notch

Fourth year in a row staying at the house. Plenty of space, we'll stocked with kitchen gear for cooking and grilling. Plan to keep renting in the future!

The view was very pretty and peaceful. Absolutely love the kitchen. The sofas were so comfy. We had a great time and loved the house.

This is our fourth consecutive year staying at this house for our annual family fishing trip (all men). The house works really well for us and is a great base for our fishing trip. And yes we caught lots of fish and had a great time again this year. There was some minor issues with spider webs which we cleaned up but clearly not a big deal.

We’ve stayed here twice and will be back again. Easy, shallow entry to the lake for the young’uns, well-equipped kitchen for the cooks, lots of entertainment and outdoor activity options, lightly traveled roads for two bikers.

This was my third time at this property. My family had a great time each year, but this time there was constant construction noise from 2 neighboring properties and the house is in need of an inside paint job due to some wall damage. Nothing serious, wear and tear, but lots of dings. However, we enjoyed the new couches. The kitchen is wonderful, with a LOT of dishes, glasses and cooking supplies. Having 4 full bathrooms is a luxury and there are plenty of towels. The lake water was 97 degrees! We saw large fish jumping every day, but only caught bluegills. We'd definitely like to return.

We had a great time! There was enough room for all of us. Kitchen is well-stocked and large. Lots of space to hang out in. We used the kayaks and canoe and enjoyed fishing from the dock.

House is beautiful and well furnished. Owner was highly responsive to messages. We greatly enjoyed the amenities, including the dock, kayaks , and neighborhood boat launch.

We had a great time even thought the first few days were rainy. We made the best of it and enjoyed every minute. I'm never disappointed when I spend quality time with my children and grandchildren. Made ots of memories. Priceless.

We rented the house for our daughters graduation from UVA. The house was wonderful. Very clean!!!! The set up of the house was great for a large gathering. The kayaks were used a lot. The water was a great temperature and very enjoyable even in mid May. Game room was a plus. Would recommend 100%!!!!!

Have stayed here several times and it is absolutely amazing, sitting on the water with friends and being able to get away from everything. This truly is a great stay!

Great place for our families long weekend at the lake!!!

This house was the perfect spot for our outing with friends and family. Very spacious with plenty of room for everybody! During our stay there was a slight issue, but the owner addressed it promptly and professionally, offering a partial refund as a resolution. We appreciated their responsiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction so much that I couldn’t bring myself to review it for anything below 5 stars. We’ll be going back to this house in the future, most definitely!

This is our third time renting this property and we will continue to return annually if we can. Property has what we need in a quiet, picturesque location!

We ready enjoyed our weekend getaway. All the kids love the house all our family are love the house, just a little concerns about bed bug that has bites my kids, overall the house is perfect for all family and kids .

Property was well-equipped with good location for family. House was nice but could use some handyman attention (paint, damage to walls repaired). Place mostly clean but furniture needed to be vacuumed under cushions.cushions.

Very nice house . Perfect quiet lake location, private,easy to keep an eye on the kids. Everyone enjoyed fishing(lots of fish) kayaks,canoeing and swimming. Plenty of room on property for outdoor activities. Owner very easy to work with. House set up is very comfortable . Plenty of room for the whole family to spend time together and nice that bedrooms were away from living area for those early to bed people/kids.

The house was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The kayaks and water toys were perfect and our kids spent hours in the water. The end of the cove is excellent for kids to swim and play without the worry of boat traffic. The house has everything you may need to be comfortable and the kitchen is fabulous! It was perfect in everyway for our family vacation. If I could change thing, it would be that the water temp wasn't 94 degrees and above at spots. This has no reflection on the house however, it is a circumstance of the private side of Lake Anna. Hope to come back sometime!
