My big issue is the house does not feel safe as it sways in the wind. You lay in bed or sit on the couch and you feel tremors like there is an earthquake. My grandkids and daughter in law were very concerned. I am told other reviews commented on this too. I should have taken this more seriously. I am thinking of reporting this to the building inspector as the wind was not very high and in a big storm this could be a disaster. There were a number of other big issues besides this one. Ants all over, no beach toys or chairs, and overall condition of house was not updated. In addition, the pool did not get cleaned per policy. House was functional and close to beach. But pictures of dinning table total misrepresent the table. It is shown covered with a table cloth not revealing it was two mismatched tables of different heights. trying to get everyone around the table with chairs as had two sets of table legs in middle. We have rented 10 homes from RI to SC over the last 5 years and for the money we paid this was the worst home. Please pass this on the owner as it feels like this is pure investment property and no real updating particularly to the exterior has been done. We were extremely disappointed and did not receive the value for what we paid. I received 20 texts pre checkin beginning a week to 10 days ahead. They came from different #’s. I sent text with review to two separate #’s the day after & have not heard back. I would not rent this property!

The only bad part of the house was the grill, it was old, very dirty(grease fire if you finally got it to light) so we did not use it!. The house itself was perfect for our family.

The kitchen is on the top deck, and for seniors it is really hard. Definitely needs some updates for the price charged. The pool cabana needs some TLC. The house has lots of kitchen needs. I would definitely go there again if there was an elevator!!

We were pleasantly surprised by the space - there was more than enough room for our 15 family members. The extra play room was really nice for all the kids too. The kitchen had tons of storage and counter space and was well-equipped. The pool was enjoyed by all, especially the kids. And the adults loved the view from the top deck. My only recommendation would be to have a picnic table on the 2nd floor deck so wet pool kids can have lunch/dinner outside in the shade. The “tiki hut” by the pool wasn’t super inviting.

Great ammitites in the kitchen, well stocked with pots, pans,slow cookers, etc. We liked that there were 2 sets of washer and dryers. 2 refrigerators in the house, although they were not convenient being on the top floor and bottom floor. Cabana bar/refrigerator is old and outdated. All & all we had a great time!

We loved the pool and the closeness to the beach. The home was a little dirty though. Found sand in the dresser drawers, found a pill in another drawer, there was candy left over from previous stays, and a dirty sock in someone’s bed.

Reviewer Comments: To whom it may concern,I recently rented property number 2849SF from July 20 till July 27. I sent an email on July 25 while I was staying there, and never got a response. I believe that we should be refunded for the cleaning fee. When we arrived to the property, the house was not as clean as it should’ve been. We also had no Internet for two days because the line going from the house to the street was broken. We did contact the he did come and I believe he did send another cleaner, but they did not clean all the bathrooms. One bathroom had a stopped up sink filled with water. The other bathrooms had dirty tubs & showers. Some of the bathrooms had dirty Band-Aids in them. Most of the tubs had hair left in them. This is very unacceptable. We also had young children who were hoping to watch movies in the evening and we had no Internet for two days and the televisions didn’t work. This is also unacceptable, Cox cable did come and repair the line on Monday afternoon, and everything was working fine after that.The microwave door is broken the refrigerator freezes, and the freezer doesn’t freeze. We had to throw food out! The oven door doesn’t close properly, and it takes longer than usual to cook and bake food. There were light without light bulbs, not enough pillows, no blankets. My cousin went out and bought them. The toaster did not toast. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. I have been going to Sandbridge for 20 years now. We’ve always rented from Sandbridge Realty or Siebert Realty and they have been terrific. I never had an issue at all. Right now I can honestly say I don’t think I’ll ever rent from Ocean Sands again because this was very unacceptable. I’m hoping that this time somebody will answer my email and I also am requesting to be reimbursed for the cleaning fee because the home was not properly cleaned before we entered. Property was well maintained and stocked with essential items for the kitchen. The location was great, at the beach in seconds. the patio and pool area were very nice and the ocean facing decks were a great touch. We've been coming to Sandbridge for the past 5 years and this is probably the nicest house and location we've had. Our extended family and friends had an amazing week and would highly recommend this property.

There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 22 adults and kids, the kitchen was well supplied, the pool with it's cabana was great (and fenced separately from the house for safety), the beautiful beach was just a short walk away, and you could see the surf from the deck. We loved it and had a wonderful time.

Pool area needs painting a few glitches nothing that we could work with, it was a little windy so you can feel the bed and the house shake a little overall it a very fun house for young people and adult.
