This was our first time staying in this home, and we will certainly stay here again. The home is large enough for 2 small families to stay here with each bedroom having it's own full bath. For the winter, we loved how the laundry area included the clothes rack and boot storage, so that melted snow is not tracked through the home.

We came up with family to ski at Timberline and to go tubing at Canaan Valley—both activities VERY close. We walked to the Mountain Owl Market to buy a few groceries, grab a latte, and have hand scooped ice cream. White Aspen is dog friendly, and the flooring is great for families, winter slush, and dog paws. The duplex is very comfortable and has plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We did a lot of cooking; the kitchen is well-stocked for preparing and enjoying family meals. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, too! We reported issues with a door knob and lighting and management was very responsive.

We spent the week to ski and relax, the house was the perfect location, and perfect size for our family. We will likely stay here again.

The house is very spacious and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing. The property manager is also on point. We couldn't get the heat on and they had a facilities person over in less than 30 mins. It was a matter of turning the fan on. The additional cool part that I didn't know when I rented it was that the Mountain Owl store and restaurant is right next to it. Very convenient especially when you don't want to cook. They have delicious sandwiches, soups or things you reheat at home. Overall - great house with a great location!

The kids were not sure what was better, swimming in the heated pool or fishing the pond full of blue gill and large mouth bass. The best part for me was watching my kids be kids. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful country and everyone was very helpful. Nice relaxing trip away from work.

Let me first say, that the rental itself inside was comfortable. It was clean, we really liked having a bedroom on the first floor. That being said, we were disappointed with the lack of outdoor seating. My goodness, we fortunately brought stadium chairs, and used those, or otherwise we would not have been able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings and beautiful views. Even a couple of plastic chairs from Walmart would be better than nothing, given what we paid to stay here. Also, the rental lists availability of gas grill. This unit had two gas grills, but only one had a tank which was empty, so we were not able to grill the fish like we had hoped. This should have been checked prior to our check in. Overall, we did not care for the location. Unlikely we would rent this house again in the future.
