Stayed Dec 31, 1969Where should I start? There are so many wonderful things to say about this place. One of the things we love most was being right on the river, listening to the gentle water streaming down, so soothing! Our children loved it even more. We were lucky to have warm weather for this time of the year and our kids spent hours playing in the river, making little boats out fo sticks and leaves. The house itself is so lovely, with eclectic, original furniture combined with the modern comforts. You have the feeling of being away from it all because the property it completely private, yet you are only a 5 minute drive to the coast where you can enjoy pristine beaches and have the convenience of a supermarket, restaurants and cafés. Claudia was so immensely helpful, gave us all kinds of tips about what to do, which made our stay even more special. We hope to be back!!
