Beautiful secluded setting on the Rainbow River surrounded by state forest

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot recommend this property highly enough!From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The property was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the things we appreciated most was how dog-friendly it was. Reese, he was an exceptional host. He was responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience throughout our stay.We spent every day out on the water paddleboarding, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The location made it easy to enjoy the outdoors, and we loved coming back each evening to such a clean and comfortable place.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic host, beautiful surroundings, and a property that truly feels like a home away from home, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again!

A Waterfront Paradise on the Rainbow River**Rating: 5/5 Stars**This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful property on the Rainbow River. If you are looking for a perfect riverside getaway, this is it.### The Main House & ViewThe house is incredibly well-equipped and comfortable. The main house features a very comfortable king-size bed, but the real highlight is the bedroom layout. With floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water and double doors leading out to a screened-in back porch, the views are simply wonderful.### Unbeatable River AccessThe deck design is awesome. It starts right at the front door and leads you all the way to the water's edge—you can walk from the house straight to the river without ever stepping off the deck. There are even built-in steps leading directly into the water, making it effortless to get in and out for a swim. We spent our mornings and late afternoons on the deck watching the abundant wildlife; seeing the otters play was a true highlight of the trip.### The Guest HouseIn addition to the main house, there is a guest house located just outside. It is also very well-appointed with another big bed, a nice full bathroom, and a kitchenette that has everything you need (minus a stove). It provided great extra space and privacy.### Amenities & HospitalityThe host is very friendly and went above and beyond by providing plenty of kayaks and paddleboards at no extra cost. Having those available made exploring the river so easy

This property is amazing and we plan to go back. It was beautiful river front with non stop views. We had a deer walk on property, birds, fish, lizards, otters, etc. They have all the toys you need and then some. Master bed was comfortable. Our 6' tall 15 year old ended up sleeping in the loft and was very comfortable as well.

This family of four plus our fur babe had an amazing time on the Rainbow River! We were out on the river everyday spotting new wildlife and enjoying the beautifully clear water.Amenities were fantastic at the house, location was gold, and communication was very friendly!It was the perfect low-key spring break spot!We hope to return next year!

Wow, what a gem on the Rainbow River! We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every second. The wildlife watching was amazing - herons, anhingas, pileated woodpeckers, otters, turtles, and more. We paddle boarded and kayaked, we cooked in the kitchen, roasted s'mores around the fire pit, visited the state park for some light hiking, fished off the dock, and when we were inside we were busy staring OUTside through the picture windows. I could go on and on. We can’t wait to go back!

Our host was friendly, caring, and made us feel very comfortable. The home was amazing & beautiful with every possible amenity available to us. We had a wonderful week and would love to spend more time. Thank you so much!

We had an excellent time. Owners were so helpful and friendly. We stayed 6 weeks and it was a small paradise. House had everything you could need. I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was the cleanest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. We were super happy with it.

We loved our stay at this property! The lot is nice and private, with beautiful woods on one side and a serene river view across the way. There were plenty of kayaks and paddle boards available for us to use, and easy access to the river made getting out on the water simple and fun. We saw tons of wildlife during our stay — just be careful driving, as there are lots of deer in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to stay again!

By far my favorite spot on the Rainbow!!! So much river frontage!! So private! The gentle staircase into the river makes kayak and paddle board launch a breeze! The house is small but has absolutely everything you need and is loaded with charm! The floor- to-ceiling windows take full advantage of the panoramic views. Watching the rain on the river from inside the house is such a treat! The expansive deck and dock are in pristine condition. The entire property is beautifully maintained. Otters everywhere!! This is our 3rd time staying at this property and we will continue to come back. Thank you Reese for being such a gracious host.

Such a beautiful place with privacy. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach Essentials provided and more - pleasantly surprised! Beds are comfortable and linens very nice quality. Nature / birds galore. Clean and well kept. Fishing for young children off dock. We caught many with wiggler worms. No condiments needed Nice relaxing stay. Checked off my bucket list We called an uber to pick us up after rafting down river on tubes provided by host. Loved our stay

We had a great week just relaxing and enjoying family time. The house has everything you need and so much more. The area is so quiet and peaceful we love every minute from sitting on the dock fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Reese and Pat are great host. We hope to come back soon. .

This house has fabulous rainbow river frontage. And almost all sides of the property looks out onto nature, and there are no other houses nearby except one. Also, the home has a great deal of amenities and well stocked. It is also in a nice location where it’s not too close to KP hole with all the river traffic and the town of Dunnellon. In other words, close enough to get there but far enough to be very relaxing. After we stayed a week, we booked the house right away for the next year. They are also wonderful hosts.

The home and the location are gorgeous. The house was exceptionally clean, kitchen well stocked, beds super comfy. Numerous paddle boards and tubes for enjoying the gorgeous Rainbow River. Quiet area, very friendly neighbors. The host is awesome as well. One of our best rental stays ever!
