Beautiful Mountain Views with Trout Creek Frontage! Ten Miles from Yellowstone!

My family stayed for 8 days. The cabin was well stocked, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. It was close to Yellowstone Park and a number of other amenities. Wendy, the owner was so kind and responsive. Planning to stay again! Had a wonderful time!

The property is in an ideal location for exploring the area. We enjoyed the hot springs just down the road and the hike out the front door. The property has a beautiful setting and the kitchen is well stocked.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a group of 6 and the cabin was spacious and comfortable for our party. The location was close to the Yellowstone entrance and not far from the town of Gardiner. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Our stay at Wendy’s home was a Yellowstone dream come true! The house had everything we needed and the eclectic decor was an added bonus. We were surrounded by beautiful mountains and wildlife, including the deer that would visit every morning and afternoon. Wendy was a fantastic host and was very quick to respond from the beginning of booking until the end. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! We already miss it and are ready to be back.

The house is very welcoming. There were five couples ...we all sat around the dinning room table for our meals & games. We all could gather around the living room to visit.We all had our separate sleeping area. I love the Montana western theme throughout the house. We got in our skiing, hiking , and soaking at the hot springs. I would definitely reserve this home again!

We enjoyed our stay at the house on the creek. It was clean, warm and welcoming. The house was well stocked. The garage was nice for the diesel truck... didnt need to plug in. Wendy was very friendly and always available for any questions or concerns. The house was nestled among neighbors which was a little surprising as I thought it was more isolated with more room to roam for our dogs. There is a small front yard and a nice view of the creek in the back. Well suited for a large or small group. Thanks for sharing your place and its history.

The kitchen was well equipped, the house was very roomy, and i loved the artwork, fliers, letters and posters in every corner of the house. Will definitely be looking into getting this property again when we are in the area!

What a wonderful stay we had! We stayed from 12/24 to 12/31. The home was ready for us and very cozy, had plenty of rooms and lots of amenities. We liked how the house was decorated with the family’s lifetime of items - news articles, family photos, homemade paintings and cute collections of cowboy motif. The home was located as close as could be to the north entrance of Yellowstone (less than 10 miles). Every morning, we saw deer, squirrels and rabbits in the front and back yards. It was such a pretty and relaxing place. Wendy was highly responsive throughout the process - booking and directions to get there. She gave us our space when we artived. Overall, it was a wonderful home to spend a week with my large family.

We loved all the space inside and the fully stocked kitchen. Our favorite part of the property is the front grassy area and the back patio and yard with the stream running through. So peaceful and beautiful. Wendy was a wonderful host!

Excellent facility with everything you need for a pleasant carefree stay. This place had more room than we needed and it was very comfortable. Lots of interesting decorations and a beautiful garden. Gardiner itself could use some better eatery solutions. The vegetarian in our group had little to no options and there was always a long wait to eat at supper time. Food shopping was limited too. Bring you own groceries and use the generously equipped kitchen at the cabin.

An amazing house that has all amenities needed for a family to stay. Owner was very quick with replies even for minor things. Well stocked with cute mountain decor and nice collections. Says 4 bedrooms but the cabin and extra living space made it so spacious. Easy access to Gardiner and Yellowstone. Cannot beat the views. Definitely suitable for families. Enjoyed the stay very much!!

This is very much a cabin feel. It’s like staying at your grandparents house in a good way! Very welcoming and lots of space to spread out! We loved the bridge over the creek and enjoyed coffee there!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this rustic mountain resort. The home had the perfect balance of comfort and charm, with all the essentials we needed while still feeling tucked away in nature. The highlight was definitely the beautiful creek flowing just behind the property – the sound of the water was so peaceful and made mornings on the porch absolutely magical.The location was great for both relaxing at the cabin and exploring the surrounding mountains and Yellowstone north entrance was only 10 miles away. Everything was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and restorative getaway, this is the perfect spot. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

More hanging clothes space and a chest of drawers in the basement would have been nice.

Our family of 11 ages 2-64 enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their space. We also had enough room to eat as a family. This is the most well stocked home we have ever stayed at. It had everything from toilet paper to coffee filters. There were even towels we could take to the hot springs! The boys loved throwing rocks in the creek out back. It was high fire season so we were not able to enjoy the fire pit but it looked awesome. The drive into town and Yellowstone was nice. Thank you Wendy for allowing us to use your home for our family reunion.

A fantastic house that is stocked with amenities. The host is super communicative and helpful. The location cannot be beat. Explore paradise valley, soak in the hot springs, enjoy Gardiner, and of course, YNP. We stayed in the house with another family and had so much room! The outside space around the home is lovely and enjoyable. The sound of the creek comes through if the windows are open. Screen doors allow you to open the house and enjoy the fresh Montana air without letting in the bugs. A great place if you are looking to stay in paradise valley.

We were on our first family vacation for our parents 50th anniversary and it was amazing! The cabin felt like home. So peaceful and relaxing. In the morning we heard the Elk and at night the stars were beautiful. None of us wanted to leave.Thank you, Wendy, for everything it was truly wonderful place to stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious and charming home! With plenty of room and bathrooms for our group of 10, it was the perfect setup for a family getaway. The views were stunning, and the private, secluded setting made it feel like our own little slice of Montana paradise.The kids had a blast exploring the creek out back hunting for rocks while I took full advantage of a refreshing cold plunge. The fire pit and bunk beds were also big hits, especially for evening s’mores. The home was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, and the decor struck a perfect balance of charm and education, reflecting the beauty and history of the area. We especially loved sipping coffee by the picture window and watching rabbits hop through the yard each morning.Its location made day trips to Yellowstone, Livingston, and Bozeman easy and convenient, and seeing the original Yellowstone cabin on the property was a memorable bonus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, nature, and a true Montana experience!

I loved everything about this rental. The creek behind the house that makes sitting on the back deck therapeutic to the quirky rustic decor. Truly had an amazing much needed trip with family.

The cabin was adorable, had exactly the charm we were hoping for. We were a family of 8 adults and 5 kids from ages 11 months to 7 years old, we fit comfortably, the cabin had everything we needed, and was clean and neat. The creek in the back yard was fun and relaxing, the lawn in the front was a perfect play area, the neighbors were quiet, and it was close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. 10 out of 10 would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay and so close to Yellowstone. The house was spacious yet cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean and well taken care of. The decor was so cute with a Western theme which is exactly what we were looking for. The settling was gorgeous. We played in the creek and enjoyed the few pits. And the host was super! We would absolutely go back!

This is a great location with lots of room. There are stairs to go down to several of the beds. Great bunk beds for the kids. Wonderful fully outfitted kitchen. Wendy is a great host. Enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this particular property stands out. The location is superb — located in the northern part of Gardiner but not too far from the Yellowstone park entrance. A beautiful stream runs behind this home. But for us, the highlight was staying somewhere that had such thoughtful and authentic decor. It’s a special find.

We had a great time staying at the Yellowstone Bar B Bunkhouse! The home was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room to accommodate us all. The best part is a river runs through the back yard...absolutely beautiful. We had fun exploring YNP the first couple of day. The last day we thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the back yard enjoying company and the views. Each morning you can spot elk grazing in the adjacent meadows. Be sure to visit with the gentleman next door. He is a fountain of knowledge about the park and all the area and very easy going. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting the park.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, very convenient for exploring Yellowstone and relaxing in the Yellowstone Hot Springs. Everything was comfy and clean. The kitchen was well equipped for making yummy meals. We played a games inside as well as croquet outside.

We stayed for Spring Break and visited Yellowstone everyday. The house had lots of room for our extended family. The only issue we had was the dander. I think the visitors before us likely had pets. Our first night my eyes swelled up and both my kids started sneezing and coughing. We re-washed all the sheets, covered the couches with the extra towels, and all took allergy meds everyday for the rest of the trip. It wasn't terrible since we were out of the house everyday and for the mornings and evenings at the house we spent time in the front playoling soccer or the back exploring the area around the stream. Overall it was a great vacation.

The home is fully stocked and the beds were so comfortable. There are a variety of rooms to fit many needs. The creek and back yard are treasures! For those who want to stay home and visit there is much to do and for those who want to visit Yellowstone and hike and go to the hot springs there is plenty to do. The grocery store in town is well stocked with lots of variety, the restaurants are great. We cooked a few meals at the house and there were all the dishes we needed for cooking and eating. I will definitely be back to this spot.

We came to Gardner to spend our spring break with her daughter. We met a couple of friends had them stay with us and had a wonderful time. The house is well provisioned, great location on the creek and it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

We are a returning family of almost 4 years and we absolutely love it here. Such nice and welcoming people and home. Love the decor, the feeling that it gives of home. Love the area, seeing elk, rabbits, and deer in the back porch every morning. We will be back for our yearly stay next year!

Couldn’t be better

Everything about this cabin was wonderful :) The owners were so kind and thoughtful. The cabin itself was full of Yellowstone history. In the mornings, you could watch mule deer and elk grazing in the backyard. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Comfortable house surrounded by mountains with a creek running behind. Our first morning we woke to four deer in the yard, saw elk on the mountain out front and saw rabbits frequently. Fully equipped home in a quiet, peaceful location.

The house is as described. It is set back off the road for some privacy. Nice place to stay.

Great location, and the house was cozy, warm, and inviting! The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with everything we needed. When the fire alarm started beeping, we sent the owner a quick text, and they came right over to replace the batteries. Fantastic service and an overall wonderful stay!

We love our time in Paradise Valley and this home worked very well for our bigger group.

The BarB Bunkhouse is a fairly large western style house with an adjacent cabin. The cabin is one of the original settler cabins in the area. The house is filled with Western ranching style furnishing and decorations. A very homy house which can accommodate a fair number of people. Everybody in my group had their own bedroom and enjoyed the accommodations. The kitchen is well supplied with condiments and dish wear. We didn't make much use of it except for breakfast. The owner communicated directions and house entrance instructions long in advance of our arrival which was much appreciated. We arrived after dark and missed the house on the dirt road off the main highway. We ended up in a neighbor's yard who told us that our rental was the next house. The problem is that the garage, but not the house is visible in the dark. There is a nearby occupied house and so we assumed we were not at the right house. Also the sign in front has a person's name in big letters at the top and the name LT B was at the bottom of the sign in small letters. The tub-shower on the main floor was very slippery and I suggest the owners install grab bars in all the showers. Overall, a very pleasant visit.

Very cozy and comfortable.

I’d highly recommend the BarB Bunkhouse. The house was roomy, clean and worked perfectly for our family vacation. The beds were comfortable, wifi was strong and did I mention, it was clean? The host was welcoming and responsive. If you're looking for a great place near Yellowstone, book this place!

This was a great VRBO. The only sad thing is that the bed situation is inaccurate. It stated that bedroom 5 has 2 sets of twin bunks. There is only a full bunk for 2 people (we have 3 boys!). It also is not in a room, but an open area which made changing and privacy an issue for the boys. The Cabin is cute and great for an older teen or young adult only. The owner's family live in the cabin nextdoor. Not an issue except their little grand-daughter had no manners and kept trying to coax our dog to her and she also insisted on standing and stairing and watching us. I had asked the little girl to kindly leave us and give us privacy but she refused. So I closed the wood panel swing door between the cabin and owner's home and it helped. Otherwise, this is a sweet place. Very Cozy, easy to get comfy and we loved it.

I have been to many many places but this has been one of my favorite. Just home away from home. Very cozy, comfortable with great views. The mountains and the stream behind the house all added to the atmosphere

This property was a perfect place and location for us to attend a family reunion down the road at the Yellowstone River Ranch. It had plenty of room for our 7 adults and 3 kiddos; 2 1/2 years and under. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were cozy and the pack-n-play and high chair were so convenient to use! The decor is something to look at and study as you learn about Yellowstone Park and just appreciate the numerous park/cowboy themed items. Wendy is a wonderful hostess and will make your stay the best it can be!

We absolutely loved the place. It was decorated with a homey/cozy feel that make you feel right at home. Our family of 10 ranged in ages from 5 to 60 and everyone had plenty of room. We cooked multiple meals and were so happy to have a crock pot and other items readily available. The hand sewn pot holders were adorable. We had a mini photo shoot in the front and back yard. 10/10 would stay here again!
