Beautiful Lodge-Style Home In The Heart Of South Dakota's Black Hills

Smooth process, full kitchen, very quiet and beautiful home and area!! We were there for Sturgis rally and plenty of parking. Nice to have central location. Would definitely stay again.

We needed a place to stay in the Rapid City area for us, our children & spouses and our grandchildren to attend a wedding. We decided to turn it into a family vacation also to see as many sites in and around the Black Hills area that we could. Karla and Chuck provided the perfect setting for our family to gather. Their home has all the bedrooms and space we could have hoped for in one place. The kids absolutely loved the fort and the hammocks!! There was not one aspect of our stay that we were unhappy about. Ample bedrooms, showers, eating space, cooking space, hanging out space yet plenty of space if anyone wanted or needed a little quiet self-time. Don’t even get me started on the outdoors and location!! Walks in the woods were enjoyed by many!! And the beautiful landscaping was peaceful to take in while enjoying a cup of coffee on the expansive porch in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening!!The hosts were fabulous to work with and enjoyable to chat with!!I would definitely recommend a stay here!!Thank you Chuck and Karla for sharing your Heavenly Hills with others!! Enjoyed our stay; beautiful property, enjoyed evening walks through the woods, and plenty of space for kids to run around outside. One of the days reached 102 degrees, but the house stayed cool, even without AC.

There is so much room for a large group. Our family had a wonderful time. It was so well stocked. Everyone agreed this was our best place yet.

Great home in beatifull setting

There were five couples who have known each other for over 40 years. There home and property were perfect for us. Karla greeted us and showed us around and was available if we had any questions. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of outdoor seating. We fell in love with her cat, Twitch, who showed up every morning and evening (outdoor cat). There are deer and other wildlife on property, which we loved seeing. We would rent from the Becklers again

The home and property are absolutely gorgeous, everything was completely as described. We had 5 couples and one single guy and had plenty of room for everyone. We primarily picked the home due to its location, it is centrally located for all the motorcycle rides that you want to do in and around the black hills area. We are already planning our next trip to the black hills (may not be next year) but this will be our first choice for our group.

I can’t say enough about this location, it was beautiful and more than enough room for our family of 10. Karla the host was very responsive when we were in communication. We loved the 20 mile ride up through the hills and the road straight to the home, gave us our outdoor experience that we do t get to experience back home. We dod come in late July so the weather was a little warm which we are used to but not so much without central air. The provided fans did help though. Centrally located to do all of the touristy things! I’ve had so many family and friends reaching out for the information for future bookings. Our family would definitely recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to South Dakota.

This property, home, and owners is epic! The pictures do not do the location and views any justice. Wildlife every morning, secluded from anything but God's country. No highway sounds or neighbors prying. Just serenity. Karla and Chuck were wonderful hosts. Lots and lots of room inside to create your own little hubs of entertainment. Whether on one of the 3 porches, or various, spacious inside entertainment areas. It also helped to be the most well stocked and largest kitchen we've every stayed at - creating some amazing large meals. Fantastic Time! For those looking to explore the Black Hills - this is an easy starting out point to get to all corners of the park, easily accessible right from the front door to all of the best trails!

I booked this property for our family get away with my 3 adult kids, spouses and 4 grandchildren. It was perfect for our group. Kids loved the outdoor play area and all the open spaces outside. Adults LOVED the privacy of their own rooms. The beautiful front and side porch was our favorite meeting space after seeing the sights of the day. So much to do within a short drive made this an ideal location for being able to do all the things and be back for a family dinner every night! It was a true blessing to be able to share this space. We visited with a large family group. There was plenty of room for everyone, a very well stocked kitchen and lots to do in the area. Karla was a responsive host who also respected our privacy. The camp fire pit was a big hit with our group and we loved seeing deer and turkey on the property.

Walked to the top of the Crazy Horse monument for our 50th. Took in all of the sites from a very nice central location. The house had plenty of space for all 8 of us and great privacy too. The hosts were great. House had a well equipped kitchen and we used it often. If you need a big place, don’t hesitate!!
