Beautiful lakeside property with full amenities

We had a great visit for our student's graduation from Bates. We enjoyed the lake, the house and location. Close but quiet! Our hosts were great and communicated with us as needed. Wish we had found it before graduation. I would have been our house in Lewiston/Auburn!

Lovely, cozy cottage on Taylor Pond. It has plenty of space for 7 people. It was chilly while we were there but the gas heating stove took the chill off. Love the views of the lake and the outdoor setting offered wonderful places to sit and relax. Kitchen is older but offers all the modern comforts needed to cook meals or prepare snacks. The hosts are very accommodating and turned on lights for our 11:30 pm arrival. This was our second stay at Taywood Cottage and we look forward to future stays!

Susan and Woody were very helpful and welcoming. They gave us lots of tips for shopping, dining and activities. The house was fully equipped and the set up was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the kayaks and lake even though we had chilly days. The sunset view was in a perfect spot for us to see each night. There is a variety of activities for family fun within an hour drive. We would definitely recommend this spot and hope to return some day. Thank you Susan and Woody for sharing your home with us.

A beautiful Fall week on the lake. The property was really on point. Comfortable, quiet, quaint. We were visiting family in Auburn and it was easy to get to and from. The hosts were responsive and very nice.

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful renovated vacation house on the west shore of Taylor Pond. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the lake to the sound of loons calling nightly. Perfect for one family or 2 small families. The hosts are wonderful and highly responsive. The house is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Lewiston, Auburn, and Bates College

The lake house is spacious and exactly what we needed for a family of 6!! Susan was very hospitable and kind. There were cleaners, kitchen items. We really just needed to buy food and some spices. The lake of gorgeous but we didn't use it often because stepping into the lake brought up a lot of dirt and debris. They do provide kayaks and the family enjoyed that. First time I've ever seen grass in a lake but there's that too. overall great place and experience!! I would recommend this property to anyone!!

Lovely property-the views of the pond/lake were beautiful and Susan made things easy. The beds are comfy too.

Our family visited Maine for a family reunion - and we loved staying at Taywood Cottage. Although we could not take advantage of the lake since it is winter, we loved being on the water for the views. The 5 of us (all adults) were very comfortable in this very well equipped and organized house. We were especially happy to have a whole-house backup generator as the snow caused a 15 hour power outage, but the generator kept us at full power. Very comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blankets. We will definitely return when we are back in town.

We stay in many, many vrbo’s. We live less than 12 miles from Taylor Pond and wanted a place to relax with family and friends. You cannot find a nicer spot! House is spotless and has a wonderful kitchen, grill, docks and swimming. I went swimming and it was so clean. Let me tell you the best part…..the loons! If you want to get away close to Southern Maine, look no further. The hosts live next door and were very nice.
