Beautiful house and private apartment, hot tub & sauna, 6 miles from Hood River!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is lovely, with just about every amenity you would need. It was very clean, a comfort in the age of Covid. We spent a lot of the evening out on the patio, star gazing with the fire pit blazing. The host is terrific too, very responsive. Can’t wait for our next stay!

The house was great. Everything was clean. The hot tub and sauna were great. The A/C worked great. The kitchen was well-stocked. Furniture was comfortable. Truly no complaints. And a gorgeous, starry sky at night.

Really fantastic rental. Exactly as pictured, impeccably clean and very comfortable. House was set up well for hanging out and cooking and relaxing. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

The house was comfortable and had stunning views of mount hood. The check-in was easy and organized. The kitchen had everything you need. We loved our visit here.

This is a fantastic house with a wonderful view of Mt. Hood right from the front porch. There is plenty of cookware and a very nice gas grill. The cherry orchard across the road brings in lots of birds, deer, turkeys and other wildlife. The living, dining and bedroom areas are all spacious and comfortable. Hood River is just 15 minutes away.

This home is one we have been returning to for many, many years. The location is excellent and easy to find. Quiet and comfortable with every amenity you can think of. Abundance of wildlife right outside the window along with a beautiful view of Mt. Hood and the hill of wildflowers. The host(s) are easy to communicate with and make you feel like you're vacationing in your home away from home. We look forward to returning again on our next trip!

So peaceful everyone enjoyed all the deer and even the bear that came very close. The home had everything we needed, but we needed larger pots and pans so we had a family member. Bring them up very nice layout. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit as well.

Super base to explore the area. Comfortable and near to all the activities in the gorge.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view

We stayed here for our son's wedding in Hood River. The house and property were absolutely beautiful! The host was very friendly and super responsive. The view from the front window of Mt. Hood is awesome! Definitely worth it! We would stay at this place again.

Our family enjoyed this house in white salmon while attending a wedding. It had everything we needed and mount hood was in its glory!

This is a great jumping off point for many hikes and fishing holes. The kitchen had every gadget, dish, and spice I could need. The hot tub was the cleanest I have ever seen at a rental. The pillows were a little stiff, but who has time to sleep on vacation.If we come back to this area, this will be where we stay.

Beautiful house with view of Mt Hood, in affluent neighborhood with great walks in a wooded setting. Nice hot tub (4 place) & small sauna in master bath. A few minutes North out of town means bring what you need or drive to get to a store, etc. Nice place; the best!

This place felt like we were staying at a family’s house. It just had the most comfortable feel and feng shui with an outstanding view. Highly recommend if you’re considering a place to stay near Hood River.

We had such a wonderful time. Inside was clean and well stocked with more than we could imagine, and the outdoors were so beautiful. We can't wait to revisit.

4 adult sisters stayed here for a long weekend. Kitchen is well stocked, house is clean, beds and couches are comfy, area is very peaceful, hot tub is perfect. Everyone loved having their own rooms. Would stay here again.

It was exactly what we needed for celebrating my son's wedding. The house was fully stocked with anything we could have needed. Plenty of space to spread out but at the same time a huge room for everyone to hang out in.

We had a wonderful stay! The house met all our needs! We had 2 small children with our group. It was advertised to have a packn’play. I messaged the owner if she knew anyplace we could rent another. She messaged that her daughter would bring one over before we arrived. So helpful!! We would definitely stay again!

Stayed here with my adult siblings for my niece’s wedding in Hood River. The open floorplan is great for visiting. There was a jacuzzi and a tiny (2 person) sauna that we enjoyed. And a beautiful view of Mount Hood from the front of the house. The owner thought of every possible thing you would need! We forgot to get Ketchup and Mayonaisse-but she had in the fridge. And we ran out of detergent pods and coffee and thankfully she had those as well! This is a very thoughtfully put together VRBO! She even had umbrellas that we ended up needing. The house was really clean and spacious enough for several couples. The room above the garage is great for teenagers to escape the adults. The only negative I would say is that the city of White Salmon is a little run down and not as charming as Hood River. But once you get to the house, the city doesn’t matter:). PERFECT VRBO!!

I am a wheelchair user who had not had great luck finding a VRBO property to rent that works for me. Collette was very kind to get the door measurements for me. My manual chair is an inch or two wider than most. I had no problem getting in the bedrooms or the main bathroom. It took a bit of maneuvering to get rolled up to the toilet but I managed. I have ostomies so I don't have to transfer. I was not able to transfer into to shower. The biggest obstacle I had was the vessel bathroom sink. The faucet came from the back and the water control was down low on it. I was able to get to it but it wasn't easy. Loved that both doors had built in ramps at them. Over and above the accessibility, the property was great. The view of Mt Hood was fantastic! Sitting on the patio was so peaceful. The kitchen had everything anyone would need. The upstairs apartment was a bit hard to cool but we were there during a heatwave. The hot tub was used a few times, no one used the sauna. Just throwing out there that there is a 3.50 toll every time you cross the bridge to and from Hood River. We were there for a wedding in Hood River so we crossed a lot. Everybody's Brewery had great food, try the nachos!

This home was perfect for our weekend stay. My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Hood River
