Welived the quaintness of the building with much of the original paneling and latches for the doors. The remodeled kitchen was a joy to cook in. And the views were amazing- from beautiful sunsets to hersd of deer. My personal favorite was sitting in the sun porch and a cup of tea.

This is a great home to stay in! The kitchen was excellent and had all the necessities needed to cook for a family. The rooms were neat, tidy, and clean. The living space had plenty of seating. The property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The communication with the host was excellent as well.

3 adults 2 young children stayed at the house during a heat wave. Hosts live on this stunning property, sharing a parking area in front of the guest house. A small fenced in area was great for our little dog. A weathered jungle gym has a safe slide and swings. No sprinkler. Great books & toys. Beautiful, rustic home with lots of character, outdoor & indoor porches and little steps and thresholds of varying heights. We brought our own suction bathtub mat. The kitchen is modern with everything you need. There is a large a/c unit in the living room and of the five bedrooms on the second floor, only one has a window a/c unit. All bedrooms have floor fans. Prevailing winds may keep rooms cool most of the time, but extreme heat can be a challenge. We managed to use what was there to good effect. Beds & pillows are mostly comfortable. We were confused about water since there were no instructions. A stand with a big water jug indicated that we were to use it for drinking water. The jug was nearly empty. After inquiry, I was informed that more 10-gallon jugs were behind the garage for us to fetch, carry and load. They are heavy and this was difficult, compounded by one jug with a leak and then a problem with the mounting device. We feel it would be more welcoming to have a full jug of water mounted for guests upon arrival and extra jugs right there in the guest house. Plan for check out as there are several tasks. The house and scenery make for an enjoyable & memorable visit.

This is our second summer at the Barn in Little Compton. Love the house and the huge yard with a lovely adjacent meadow. The area is serene yet within easy walking distance to The Commons. Plenty of room for our extended family of 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of dinnerware and glassware to choose from. Jenny is a wonderful, helpful host. Our trip to RI is made ever so comfortable staying here in Lityle Compton.

My college friends and our college-aged children stayed for Memorial Day weekend. Though it was a chilly weekend, we had plenty to do walking around town, playing games and doing puzzles. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The WiFi modems needed to be re-plugged in when we arrived but from then on all was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Loved all the bird watching out the back. We also brought our dog and it worked well for that.

Located in an old, quiet and unspoiled area on the South Coast of Rhode Island. The house is charming and easily accommodated us ( 2 couples). First day, we had nasty weather so we cooked, read, played games and looked out on to the gorgeous farmland with amazing stone walls. House had everything we needed. Met one of the lovely owners who made sure we had what we needed.

Our party of 7 included five adults (18-75) and two children (7 and 15). The Beehive Guest House was perfect for our visit to Rhode Island. The house itself was roomy and well decorated with an updated kitchen and lovely pantry. The kitchen is well appointed and the two full baths and one half bath were very convenient. Our favorite room was the sun room where we all gathered in the late afternoon to enjoy the warm setting sun. The bedrooms were plentiful and although the beds were firmer than we are used to, no one complained and everyone slept comfortably. There were plenty of blankets for the cold, windy nights. The kids loved the hidden staircase from the laundry room to the master suite. The main stair was a bit tricky for the youngest and oldest so the alternative stairway was appreciated. We made use of the laundry facilities and although the washer and dryer were older, both functioned properly. The outside area was gorgeous and we were sad to leave before the gardens bloomed. The only issue we had was the wi-fi. There was very little cell service inside the house so wi-fi was necessary. It did go out for a day, but our host, Jenny, responded quickly to our text and we resolved the issue together. We never walked to the cafe and shops down the street due to time, but they are on our list for our next stay. We all loved our vacation at the Beehive and plan to stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming historic house! The house was not only full of character but also incredibly comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, and we loved the cozy living spaces that made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque community that offers a real sense of tranquility. It's quiet, with lovely surroundings, the stone walls and fields offer such a peaceful landscape, but still just a short drive to beautiful beaches, which made it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house—everything from plush towels to the small but meaningful details that showed the owners really care about their guests' comfort. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the area, this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

Get together with Navy friends. Home was perfect for our needs. A lot of property outside. We brought our dog with us and she loved running freely on the property. House is an older home but well kept. We did have some issues with the WIFI and sent a message to the owner. She got back to us immediately to resolve the issue. Plenty of space in the downstairs for a party of 9.

We went with 2 other familes. All had teens 14-17. Property was very nice and surrounding areas. Lots of places to visit. House was located on property with another house that the owners lived in. They greeted us upon arrival which was strange but she was very nice. We saw them from time to time which was fine. The microwave did not work but overall had everything you needed to stay and cook for a large group. Overall great time. lin. H

This Little Compton home was the perfect home for our family vacation. The five cozy bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, and welcoming indoor/outdoor spaces allowed our extended family of adults to spread out, relax, play games, share meals, read and spend good time together. Throughout our 10-day stay we biked the beautiful Little Compton roads, played tennis at nearby courts, ran, enjoyed wine/treats at the Sakonnet Winery, body surfed at local beaches, surfed at South Shore Beach, enjoyed a clambake dinner by Little Compton Clambakes, and hiked many nature/beach trails. The beauty of the location inspired us daily.

The views of expansive lawn and fields make this home a real treat, especially at sunset. We particularly enjoyed the sunroom and roof deck. It’s a short walk to the quaint town with a general store, tennis courts and nature trail. This is an older home with some antiquated amenities, though the kitchen and one bath are updated. Air conditioning is only in 2 rooms, not whole house, but we didn’t need it with the sea breezes. It was comfortable for our group of 6. The owner is pleasant and responsive. They live in the larger home on the property. Overall it was an enjoyable place to stay in Little Compton.
