It was great, would suggest moving pull out couch upstairs, a cork screw, and comforters for each bed

Upon Arrival, the refrigerator was not working and dirty. I had to throw out all the fog in refrigerator and freezer. I also had to clean the refrigerator. We had all our food in coolers with ice. The realtor did send over a small refrigerator with freezer bit we were unable to store all our food due to the small size of the refrigerator. The following day when we lite the grill it was dirty and the grease pan was over flowing. The next day the central air stopped working, and took a day for someone to repair it and the upstairs temp was in the 80s. The new refrigerator was delivered on Wednesday and the water line was not hooked up. We again had to purchase ice for our beverages. We tried to do a load of laundry after my grandson became ill on a fishing boat. I was not able to clean his clothes. We were really looking forward to a fun, cool and relaxing vacation, instead it was very stressful. I paid a lot if money for specific amenities, especially the AC and it was issue after issue.

My family and I had an enjoyable stay on Great Island which included a 2.5 yo, 6.5 yo, two adults, and 2 seniors. All the neighbors we met were friendly and full of information whether year-round residence or other families renting houses. The house is in a good location which is great for morning or evening walks. The backyard was great for playing bean bag toss which we brought w/ us. The mosquitos are vicious so bring a repellent if that's an issue. The house was as pictured, all the TVs use Ruko except for the first bedroom on the first floor which didn't have a Ruko stick. Only one TV was set up for Guest Accounts so that it basically erases your info on the check-out day. If you use any of the other TVs you'll have to enter your account info directly and reset the system before leaving. The upstairs bed was big enough for my husband, the kids, and me. We did have an issue while were the freezer door was not closing properly and affecting the fridge temp. In the end, my husband figured out that the freezer ice maker bin wasn't closed properly. Once it was pushed in the issue was fixed which was nice since we had purchased over $200 in groceries the first day. When you arrive there's a welcome book that tells you about beach chairs and beach toys in the basement. The basement door was locked upon our arrival so we didn't get to use those. That was fine since we weren't aware of them b4 our arrival and brought our own. Trash and recycling are picked up early between 7-7:30, so I recommend putting your recyclables and trash out the night before. We were lucky I wake up early regularly. My only real issues were about cleaning the floor. On our 1st day my 2yo was running around in white socks and after a couple of hours, her socks were grey. The floor should be mopped more often. I am of the mindset if that's the dirt I can see, then what kind of dirt am I not seeing. The second issue was the vacuum cleaner was subpar. The owner should invest in one or two quality lightweight vacuums and a broom. I have two young kids which means I am constantly cleaning up crumbs and the vacuum cleaner provided made this a daunting task and there was no broom on the property only a dustpan and floor brush. There are plenty of dishes, silverware, and pots and pans, the house even had an air fryer. Also, there were games and DVDs for those rainy days. All in all we would rent this house again.
