Hill City, South Dakota
Beautiful horse ranch, for short-term rental, north of Hill City, in the center of the Black Hills. Located at 5700 feet, the property abuts national forest service land, which provides world class ATV, hiking, and horse trails, while maintaining cool temperatures in the summer months.
This is a new listing. Property was recently purchased by experienced vrbo owners (Hilton Head, Cape Cod, Quebec, St Lucia) and has local property managers. The horse barn is available for secure storage of motorcycles, ATVs, or horses. Plenty of trailer parking is available on the property. Property is located on a well-maintained gravel road 2 miles from Rochford, SD.
The house had three queen bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a large great room with a modern fully functional kitchen, a dual reclining sectional couch, a large 60 inch Google TV, a pellet stove for cool evenings, and a full laundry. The shaded front porch is a wonderful gathering spot for guests. High speed internet is provided throughout the property.
Beautiful, clean cabin! The beds were comfortable too! The front porch is great! We’d recommend this! ATV trails nearby also.
We chose this particular place on spur of the moment due to last minute cancellation of our original booking due to double booking. I thank God this happened because this was much better and very quiet location to just relax. The mangers were friendly and helpful place was beautiful, spacious and clean. The only down side was getting to it on several miles of gravel road that we began to enjoy. Overall highly recommend and definitely will seek out if future trips take us back to the beautiful Black Hills.
The property is beautiful and my kids loved the house. The only downside was construction on the road leading to the house, which was loud but it didnt bother us since we spent the majority of our time away from the house. It was the perfect getaway for our family!
This home is absolutely beautiful. The owners have taken great care to ensure the home is well-cared for and well-stocked. We love to cook, and the kitchen had every utensil we needed to prepare meals, plus a really nice set of chef knives that were actually sharp! We appreciated that salt, pepper, and a few additional spices were in the cupboard; and the bag of coffee the owner left for us was such a warm welcoming touch. The wraparound porch is perfect for enjoying morning coffee and evening drinks, while you grill. And we loved the seeing the American Flag that adorns the house on the porch! The beds and linens were super comfy, and the bath towels were fluffy and gigantic. If you love a relaxing bath after a long hike, then this is the place for you. The bathtub is phenomenal. Thank you for a great stay!!!
