Stayed Jul 20, 2025We had a lovely family reunion! The large home was perfect for our occasion. The kitchen was well-stocked and had plenty of counter space and even a Butler's pantry! Each of the three levels had areas for conversations and/or games. The bunkhouse also held lawn chairs and lawn games. Communications with the owner were easy and gracious. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Stayed Jul 6, 2025Beautiful home! We loved the large yard and beach. The lake toys/equipment were great and received plenty of use. The location is excellent with privacy for your stay but also close to many attractions.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025We had an incredible stay and thought the cabin was absolutely amazing. It is extremely clean and has a ton of character. The backyard is huge, and it is located in a perfectly quiet part of the lake. Overall, I can't recommend staying here enough, and we hope to be back next year.

Stayed Aug 21, 2024Had a nice time staying in mid August. Dock was nice to tie up the boats for the fishermen and the yard and beach were great for the kiddos. House was very comfortable and well stocked. Great family getaway

Stayed Jul 26, 2024This place was great. Nice beach; many boat toys; cleand and well-maintained; fabulous kitchen equipment; excellent TV. Great for both adults and kids interested in playing on the beach, or canoeing, wake-boarding, kayaking. I can't think of a way to improve it.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024This home is stunning. There was everything we needed for cooking. Loved the pantry for storing our supplies. They had plenty of lake toys and chairs. There was a kayak, canoe, paddle boat and yard games for our use. The lake is a bit rocky so would suggest water shoes for wading along the shoreline. Next visit we will definitely get a pontoon boat to explore the lake. Would highly recommend this lake home, especially for large groups as there is plenty of room for spreading out.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Our extended family of 10 stayed in Kathryn’s home for a week. It was wonderful. From the beginning, communication with her regarding the rental was great. She responded quickly to all my questions. We had one issue that came up once we were in the house that she responded to immediately and to our complete satisfaction. Check in was very easy. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is spectacular. You have to see it to believe it. We had plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfortable. Everything you might need during your stay is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The grounds are beautiful too, and we used and fully enjoyed the canoe, paddle boat and paddle board provided. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Kathryn!

Stayed Jun 7, 2024We are from MN, but live in Texas. We wanted to escape the heat and remind the kids (16 & 17) about the beauty MN offers. This was the perfect home and perfect location to do just that. The design and furnishing of the home is nothing short of perfection. Great spaces when you want to gather (cooking, eating, games, movies... a place for it all) and be together, but also great bedrooms / suites to relax if you need some time alone. Kathryn the host is quick to respond and truly made her home feel like it was ours for the week. We are a golfing family... and there are 3 world class courses within a 30 minute drive. We also rented a pontoon from the nearby marina (Birch Point) so that we could enjoy the lake. If we are every back in Northern MN, we will absolutely consider staying here again.
