I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I held my 60th birthday bash at Chinquapin and we used Starry Night for our main gathering place. The view is stunning. The home is warm and inviting. The community amenities were superb. My guests and i particularly enjoyed the real wood fireplaces and the special personal touches around the house. More than a mere rental, we were privileged to stay in someone's cherished family home. This home goes to eleven!

Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and blanket watching the sunrise was priceless.

Stayed Jul 20, 2023This place is more is more like a well procured personal home, than a vacation rental. Every detail of the house is well thought out. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, down to even a salad spinner. The property and house are stunning, but the most amazing thing is the unencumberd views. Great access to hiking to waterfalls in the neighborhood and nearby Panthertown.

Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay here and it is fabulous if you’re looking for a relaxing visit in the mountains at a house that sleeps many. There are so many conveniences of home that are here - lots of dishes, gadgets, dishwasher pods, trash bags, baggies, Tupperware, etc. The only convenience missing in the kitchen is an ice maker but there are tons of ice cube trays and a big bowl to put cubes in. It’s a small kitchen, so not a lot of room for a bunch of cooks!!! The views are outstanding, tons of firewood for the fireplaces in the living room and outdoor fireplace. There is 1 TV in the house which is sufficient for our needs. Instructions for the TV could benefit from updating. It is very private with very few homes in the development. 10-15 min drive from the Ingles Market in Cashiers. We lost power for a bit during a rain shower and the generator kicked on and worked until it was no longer needed. THAT is an awesome convenience, for which we were grateful. This is a home to rent if you are a conscientious renter - it is someone’s vacation home and should be respectfully taken care of just as you would your own home. It was a delightful week at Starry Night.

We used the community center several evenings with it's driving range, putt-putt golf and fire pit area. We also hiked on the onsite trails and enjoyed one of the waterfalls. It was a great trip for us.
