Beautiful Beach Get-Away

A very nice vacation for our family. So close to the beach & to the bay. Was a quiet and peaceful area. Only good things to say about our experience.

Our family of five (with three teenagers) stayed here comfortably. Great location, easy walk to the beach. Property had everything we needed and was well stocked with extra paper towels, trash bags, etc. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and a grocery store. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was the perfect spot to enjoy a long weekend. Its location is ideally situated between the end of Mission Beach and the beginning of Pacific Beach. We especially appreciated that it’s located closer to the ocean side of the peninsula, so there was no need to cross Mission Boulevard unless we wanted to visit the bay side.The location also made it easy to walk in either direction to explore a variety of shops, restaurants, and coffee spots. The rental itself was perfect for my family, including my adult children and grandchild. The three separate sleeping and living areas provided both comfort and privacy for everyone.The home was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy the beach, cook meals, and grill while relaxing in the outdoor spaces. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, and the rooms were thoughtfully supplied with fans, extra linens, and additional blankets.I would highly recommend this rental for your next San Diego vacation.

Great location and good hospitality, no frills but just perfect for beach vacay

The house is less than a block away from the beach. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants in the area. Having a garage to park a car was great. The pictures in the listing is a true representation of the property.

Location was perfect for beach access. Comfortable beds, plenty of room, ideal for families including grandparents.

I stayed with two of my sons and their wives the week before Christmas 2025 - we had a greet time. The property was close to the ocean and bay - and restaurants / bars. The host was super responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well provisioned. We would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I had such a fun time hanging out on the beach, and spending time together at the house. The property is nice and comes with everything you’d need for a great beach day! The property managers communicate well and answered all of our questions. I’d love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It fit our family very well.The house was well stocked with everything we wanted for a great beach vacation. The outdoor patio and balcony were perfect for enjoying meals together. The location was great being close to the beach, the bay and restaurants. The garage was roomy with space for our suburban, bikes, and other toys. We appreciate communication with property manager prior to the trip answering our questions.

This was our second stay at this beach home. Great location, garage is stocked with lot's of beach supplies. Close to some great local restaurants, and grocery store about 1/2 a mile away. Parking spaces for a big SUV, (I have an Sequoia) plus 2 mid sized cars. The host is available and responds to massages in a timely manner. A couple of little things could be fixed( bottom closet where beach towels are stocked, hard to open) but so minor, not an issue,. House is clean, beautiful, lots of space for families. I love this house, and PB has the best vibe

Location was great. The property is a little run down. The kitchen could use a thorough cleaning. Inside cabinets were dirty (kitchen & bathrooms) & kitchen cabs unorganized. No working can opener. Screen door on front balcony completely falling apart & barely functional. Mold on the coffee table under the tray, couch on its last use. Garage was great.

A great location to walk to the beach. Every thing was so close. Nice restaurants and shops.

Great stay in mission beach where we were right on the cusp of pacific beach. Highly recommend staying here if you’re staying in the area

We were all new to San Diego and didn’t realize what an excellent location this rental was. It was just a short drive from the airport, and right in the middle of shops restaurants and our choice of ocean or bay beaches. We had come mainly to go to the zoo. And that wasn’t much of drive either. The street was quiet in the evening, although there was lots going on close by. The owner had beach toys and towels for us to use, and a play area on the top floor that the kids enjoyed. All in all a lovely stay.

First plane ride for kids and decided to do Southern California by the beach. Found this place on VRBO and the reviews do not do this place and location any justice. Awesome location and view. We rented a car to get to Zoo and SeaWorld and this location is a stone throws away from the each. My kids favorite part of trip was the beach and ocean. Will definitely come back to this place and recommend it as well. Communication was great. No waiting for any response. Thanks for an excellent time and stay.

The place was very well equipped! Board games, beach chairs & towels, beach toys, even a play pen. Location was great. Very short walk to the beach and you can see it from the balcony. Host was awesome to work with. I managed to lock myself out and they were able to get me back in quickly.

Property was cute - little hard to find for grocery delivery and our uber rides but other than that we had no noise complaints which I was worried about as we were a group of girls. Close to PB but further away from downtown San Diego. Couch bed is not comfortable but everything else was okay.
