Stayed Nov 27, 2025Our family had lots of room to move about. The amenities were state of the art, the host was contactable. The location was very relaxing, the fishing was great. We were all blessed to have had the opportunity to gather at such a great home. We will be back!

Stayed Aug 22, 2025Everything was amazing. 2 of my granddaughters 2 and 3 yrs old caught their first fish. My oldest daughter learned to play foosball and chest. A totoly awesome experience.

Stayed Apr 11, 2023The Mcnutt cabin is a perfect place for family and friends to gather together and enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in East Texas. The accommodations were excellent for two families and all of our children. We all caught lots of fish and enjoyed cooking on the open fire pit. Stayed Jul 6, 2022This property is perfect for a big group to have privacy. It is very spacious and the house is awesome. You literally don't need to bring anything other than clothes and food. The owner is great and communicates in a very timely manner. We did take a small kid pool for the little ones.

Stayed May 26, 2022I rented this property for my family to host our very small intimate wedding. The house is huge and very clean. We were able to fit everyone comfortably and there was plenty of room for outside activities. We really enjoyed the kayaking and paddleboard. It was a gorgeous setting for our sunset wedding.

Stayed May 18, 2022The stay was great. The teenage boys loved the fishing (catch and release) and the kayaks. The house was beautifully decorated. Overall one of the best places we have stayed.

Stayed Dec 30, 2021Our stay at the McNutt Cabin was fabulous! It is absolutely beautiful! The architecture and decor were some of the best we have experienced in our many travels. Its wall of windows provided us with great views of the lake and pasturelands. Each bedroom was spacious, beautifully appointed and had such comfy beds. The kids LOVED the bunk room with 6 queen sized bunk beds and TV with DVD player. There were large TVs in the family room, gameroom, and each bedroom. The three bathrooms were spacious with large walk in showers. The mud room had lots of storage and full size washer/dryer. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen had a 6 burner gas stovetop, double ovens, refrigerator, wine refrigerator, and microwave. We loved our stay and hope to come again!
