I was seeking solitude and a connection with nature, and a home that fit my style. That's exactly what I got here! It's a mixture of zen and southwest art in a beautiful, clean, comfortable cabin. The deck in the trees was perfect and I loved sitting out and watching the sunrise and sunset, the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. It had everything I needed and the communication with the owner was perfect. Cecilia was very attentive and wanted to make sure my stay was exactly as I hoped. She was a pleasure to rent from. I can't wait to return! Absolutely beautiful!

Cecilia's cabin is one of the nicest, most welcoming places we have ever stayed. Her description of the location and amenities was spot on, she responded quickly and thoughtfully to all communications, and she was more than helpful with questions and a couple personal issues. The cabin is beautiful, designed with skill and love, fully provisioned. We felt she had thought of everything. Her description of things to be aware of was very accurate and useful, e.g., there is a narrow stairway to the loft which must be ascended/descended carefully and the cabin is at a very high elevation (over 11,000') so make sure to acclimatize carefully. In sum, we loved this place and would definitely recommend it.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The property owner, Cecelia, was very attentive; the house is cozy, well-furnished (even provided things like Ziploc bags), and had a very comfortable bed. We were able to cook all our own meals, including grilling steaks on the gas grill outside, and had plenty of bedding (even extra pillows), hot water for showers, internet access, and TV if we wanted to relax in the evening. We enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeders (bird seed provided), and even had a little red fox run across the deck one morning. The view out the front was gorgeous. The location was perfect - close to where we planned to hike (Quandary Peak), outside of the hustle of towns, but close enough to drive to get ice cream one evening. Cecelia provided information about the local area which allowed us to visit a location where we were able to see a small herd of mountain goats. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future if we visit Colorado!

This cabin was adorable! It was everything we were hoping for - a clean, quiet, and comfortable retreat in the mountains. The views were wonderful and the birds and chipmunks were fun to watch. The only slight drawback was the lingering odor of cigarette smoke. But after you’re inside for a few minutes you don’t notice it any longer. The owner was super helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area and very friendly. Overall it was a great experience.

My son and I were looking for a place off the beaten trail, but still close enough to drive to Breckenridge each day. The home was a great option for us and we had a very relaxing weekend. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The bathroom is nicely updated. Great place to stay!

We absolutely loved staying at this place; The views and location are absolutely surreal. It is a very very peaceful place to stay in, good for meditation or writing. The Cabin is ideal for two people, and not very far from other towns. Cecilia was very nice!!! We were provided detailed instructions and suggestions of locality. We got snowed in and the host offered us a free extra night stay!!! Yay, Thank You Cecilia!!! I would highly recommend staying here any season!!! Will be returning here when in Colorado. -best Roman

We were so delighted by Cecelia's home that I am not even certain where to start. We felt like we were staying in the home of dear friends who had generously allowed us to use it while they were away. The home itself has everything needed for two people to live comfortably: a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, and a bathroom with Zen touches that make it a sanctuary. The artwork around the house adds to the Zen vibe (lots of folk art - Buddhas and Kokopellis and African masks - which clearly have been carefully, lovingly acquired over a lifetime). Throw in the wildlife and the night skies and the quiet ...we so enjoyed the setting that we were not bothered a lick by the minimal TV service or sluggish internet. Unplug and relax! The setting is lovely - the view of Mt Lincoln off the deck looks different every ten minutes - you may just want to stay at the house all day! But don't. Take Cecelia's advice on local hikes and go enjoy this beautiful area.

My husband and I had an amazing stay. You are truly tucked away and in the mountains at this home. Very close to hiking and mountain biking in Breckenridge. Beautiful and cozy home, surrounded by pine trees and hummingbirds. It was like a dream! We will be back!
