BEAUTIFUL 5 STAR LOG HOME ON 15 ACRES! LAKE VIEWS, STOCKED POND, 18 MILES TO YNP

This is the sixth year we have been coming to Henrys lake for a fishing trip. This was the best accommodations by FAR! The host was amazing, the location and amenities were excellent! Thank you Rozalynn for sharing your home with us!

The house was amazing and the location West Yellowstone was perfect.Please note, the stairs would be hard for elderly and handicapped.Our stay was amazing and host was prompt with responding to our needs.

Beautiful location & close to many local attractions! Elk in the backyard and fish in the pond.We ran out of toilet paper, not enough wash cloths or towels for all so had to do laundry a couple times which is pretty minor in the scheme of things. Thank for the memories

Had a wonderful stay with family at Valhalla! Although we only stayed for four nights, we had a great time, cooking meals in the spacious kitchen and playing games on the front lawn. We also caught a few trout in the small pond! We drove into Yellowstone a couple of days and stocked up on supplies in West Yellowstone. Enjoyed great birdwatching from the expansive deck and the lake view of course never gets old. After hearing the elk bugle here and there for a few days, we finally got to watch a herd on the mountains behind the house. The property is a lovely respite and worth the little extra time to stay outside the park and be able to do your own cooking and laundry! If you have a big group that wants to stick together with accommodations —Valhalla is for you!

It’s a very nice place. The views is one of the best ones around. Enjoy the place even seen a mule deer walking across the front yard.

We had a wonderful reunion vacation with our family of 8 from other states! Plenty of room for the eight of us. I would only say that if there were more people, it would have been a little more difficult with only three bathrooms. But awesome views and a beautiful place to stay! Can’t wait to book again for another time!

What an absolutely amazing place! All of my family were blown away. The views were simply amazing, but then the house itself was beyond compare. Everyone from our group wants to leave their mundane existences back in the real world behind, and move to Valhalla! Not to be glossed over also the property manager was very helpful. I made a special request of some ski poles to use to walk longer distances in the park due to a muscular disorder. Not only did they come yup with one pair, they had two! One of them definitely worked better than the other, and I was off and running (or slowly walking actually). Thank you again for a stay that will be very difficult to top.

We absolutely loved staying at Valhalla. The property and house are absolutely beautiful. The view was stunning. It was close to Yellowstone and the things we wanted to do. Our kids had a blast with the games and activities in the house. The house was equipped with every possible thing you could need for cooking. Cellular reception worked well. The property owner/manager Rosalyn was very helpful and accommodating. Honestly our experience at Valhalla was as perfect of an experience as anyone could expect. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend Valhalla to anyone that is looking for an amazing place to stay near Yellowstone.

The property and home were both just amazing! They outdoor deck/s were perfect, enjoyed quite a bit of time there! The owner understands that the little things can make all the difference! For example, they had laundry detergent available which is much appreciated when traveling. Also available were baggies, some condiments and some things that are hard to travel with or you just forget to purchase but really need. Owner was very timely in all communications which was just great! Would definitely stay again.

Love the home, the location and everything about the property

Our family of 10 (6-70 yrs) had a memorable trip! The house was immaculate and saying it's well-stocked is an understatement. Lots of nice touches too...huckleberry jam and honey with welcome note, pop-up puppet theater for kids, etc. Plenty of room to spread out and have your own space if needed. View is spectacular and pictures are accurate. Kids had fun fishing in pond and playing frisbee golf (nice lawn in front of house for games). I wasn't sure about staying outside the park as it's 15 minutes to YNP entrance and then add whatever you are visiting, so it can be a long ride. We went into the park 3 of the 4 days. But the house made it worth it and there's plenty of wildlife to look at along the way. Rozalynn was quick to answer any questions and you can tell the owners take pride in Valhalla. Thank you for sharing your home. All around, a trip our family will never forget!!

The house is very nice, has great space, and has a great view. The bathrooms were very nice, beds comfortable, good furnishings, etc. Our main issues with the property were the stairs from the driveway to the main floor were a full staircase up so it was a lot of work to bring all of our luggage, totes, etc up the stairs for our one week stay. In addition, it made it very difficult for my mother in law to get into the house as she has stability issues with stairs. We were also disappointed that the house didn’t have central air conditioning. The description stated air conditioning but that was only a window unit in the loft area. The house was very warm in the afternoon in mid July even with the doors open and fans blowing in every room. Finally, the bats!!! Don’t plan on enjoying the stars at night like I had intended or leaving the house before sunrise to get into Yellowstone early because there are probably 40-50 bats that you have to contend with that swoop all around the deck area and under the eaves of the house .

We were expecting a lot based on the pictures on the listing and this property did not disappoint. It was amazing! The views were breath taking. The first morning we had 15 elk and 3 moose in our yard! The little ones were able to go down to the pond and catch (and release) some beautiful fish. The older guys were able to walk across the street and catch even bigger ones. This house has everything you need for a perfect stay. A well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, pool table, ping pong table and even games for the kids including a little hand puppet show for the little ones. You will not find a better view anywhere in the area. And I can not say enough good things about the host Rozalynn. She was extremely helpful and very patient with my questions. She was a wealth of very helpful information. I would highly recommend this property and her for your stay! Thank you Rozalynn for allowing us to create memories of a lifetime for our family.

3 generation family trip to celebrate 50th anniversary and 70th birthday. This home was absolutely perfect. Comfortable and spacious with such a welcoming feel. We enjoyed a day trip to Yellowstone. West Yellowstone Grizzly center was a big hit too. ATV rentals to Sawtelle Peak and Big Springs was super fun. Mesa Falls was a gorgeous trip with picnic at Warm River to include wading and fishing. We all enjoyed the many hours we spent at the cabin. Playing cards. Shooting pool. Badminton and croquet outdoors. The kids watching movies in the loft. Cooking and eating meals together in the incredible kitchen. Honestly I think we all could have spent the entire time right there at Valhalla. All ten of us, from age 6 to age 70 unanimously give this lovely home 5+ stars. Perfect.
