Stayed Jan 16, 2026The house was amazing. The location was perfect for my family. Close enough to all the Asheville activates without dealing with downtown noise. It is extremely convenient to good local restaurants and attractions. The host was great with communication from start to finish. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Asheville area!!

Stayed Dec 26, 2025The location of the house was perfect. Allowed us to fly in late and be at the house within a few minutes. It was also central to most of the landmarks, attractions, and activities we had planned during the holiday break. The decor in the house made us feel like we were in the Carolinas. And the garden in the back was very tranquil. Due to the cold blast that came through we didn’t get a chance to use it very much, but definitely something to look forward to in the spring. The rooms were comfortable. Not a game changer…. But If there was one thing I would change is maybe a little more privacy on the guest bathroom door. It’s a beautiful country, farmhouse door… but a little open for guests to feel privacy if traveling with other adults. That’s it!

Stayed Sep 11, 2025A lovely home on a quiet cul-de-sac that was perfect for our family visit to a friend’s wedding in Mills River. The magical garden in the back elevates the property to something truly special! Do note that laundry facilities aren’t provided, even though the listing makes it seem like they are.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Very clean, lovely property. The location is perfect for providing access to Asheville,Hendersonville,Brevard, Flat Rock, and Black Mountain. Initially, we were concerned about possible noise because of proximity of the airport, but it was never a problem. Check-in was easy and the hosts responded immediately to any questions.

Stayed Jan 17, 2025The house is great and for a family it was perfect. If you are planning to stay here with friends I would just warn that the bathroom door is “barn” style so it doesn’t provide the most amount of privacy. This was totally fine for my family, but would be something to keep in mind if traveling with others.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024We have just returned home from a weekend at this VERY charming cottage like home in Fletcher, NC! We were in town for a wedding and this was the PERFECT location for all the activities involved. My son and his wife flew in from Chicago to join us and the airport was literally 5 minutes away! That being said, the home was tucked away on a wooded private cul de sac and you’d never know how close you were to the airport and other amenities. It was so clean and comfortable and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Aug 31, 2024Crystal, we enjoyed staying in your house that you lived for 20 years raising your family. We were very mindful of the house rules and treated your home as we would do ours. It was an amazing weekend for us in the property. Your Patio and decor was very welcoming, including the small garden with the pond set up !! Kitchen utensils were very limited - that is one area for improvement but otherwise, you have thought about all the details for a guest !! Thank you very much and we look forward to staying with your property soon !!

Stayed Jul 22, 2024We travel to Asheville every year in July for a show at the Ag Center. We have a group of 5 and usually stay 15-20 min away. While we have found some great properties in the past, we were looking for something a bit closer to reduce travel time. We found this listing and it checked all our boxes, including being just a few minutes’ drive to the Ag Center and airport. In the neighborhood, we saw deer, turkey and a few of the famed white squirrels known to frequent the area. The house was very clean with lush landscaping and located in a very friendly and quiet neighborhood. It’s a split-level home with some stairs to climb to the front entrance. Once inside, stairs down will lead to a downstairs bedroom and stairs up leads you to the main living area, bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen area was small, but adequate for our needs as we do not typically prepare large meals on our trips. There is a regular coffee maker (non-keurig) which helped us wake up in the early mornings. We really enjoyed the covered, screened-in patio and the tranquil back yard during our stay. The hosts were wonderful and answered any question we had. They even accommodated an early arrival for us by a couple hours when a couple members of our family arrived early. This was a great place to stay during our time in Asheville and we look forward to staying here next year.
