The host was kind and accommodating. We had a good time on Colchester, Vermont. The house is large, the kitchen is great and had many essentials one needs when cooking, or even just enjoying coffee or tea. Our host graciously had coffee and half-n- half..... lovely. The master bathroom is absolutely divine (as you can see in the photos), the large spa like tub is every bit delicious as it looks... can't help but spend time there. I appreciated the details in the home that made our stay fun and relaxing. I would recommend staying there. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the hot tub is sweeeet!

This is a great place to stay during the foliage season. Everything about this house was awesome, including the host.

Recommend Claudia’s property! It is a cozy home with lot of board games, books and a cozy living room! We enjoyed our stay there during fall! The hot tub was super appealing but didn’t have the time to make use of it. Very close to Burlington and Essex. Good location but a little hard to locate at night m

The home inside was nice and large enough for our purposes, however we did not end up staying. The deck pictured is not private - the house is separated from an high grass yard by a driveway that encircles the home and is shared with a spa that is legally not the same property, but for all intents and purposes is 10 feet from the back entrance and shares the driveway. This spa is also open 11.5 hours/day and has active customers. The hot tub is in the photo, but not listed as a feature of the home - make sure to contact to ensure it will be on when you get there. There is no A/C currently, but it's in the works. The unfinished basement only locks from the basement, not from the main floor - basement also has separate door that leads to the outside, in front of spa. As a group of bachelorettes, we were uncomfortable with some of the unexpected issues on this property. After conversations with VRBO and the owner (who was very responsive via VRBO messenger and texting), we received a refund from the owner and left the property.

I have used Vrbo only twice to book vacation homes and both times it has not worked out, causing lots of stress and having to scramble to find a hotel. This time the host listed the property as having AC, but when we arrived, there was no AC at all. Windows were raised and fans were blowing and the house was incredibly damp and smelly. I have allergies and rely on AC this time of year. My mold allergy is particularly severe, and my husband and I could not stay there.

Our stay in Colchester was so comfortable. The property was exactly as advertised, and we appreciated the bagel breakfast the host kindly left for us when we arrived. Kind host. Looking forward to our next visit to Vermont!
