Wonderful home, location and stay. So many things to do so close by. Homeowner was very helpful in best things to do and communicating. He took extra time to get things ready so the kids could ride bikes. Would absolutely go back!!
We LOVED our week long stay and plan on returning. The house was perfect for the three of us - two adults and one 7-year-old - clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We really appreciated having central AC, gas fireplace, laundry, and a dishwasher during our vacation. The location is amazing - right next to the wildlife sanctuary (worth visiting!), easy access to both bay and ocean beaches, and also close enough for day trips to Provincetown (whale watching is worth the drive and boat trip!). Chris and Amy are great hosts - they are communicative and made sure that we had what we needed in the house.
The house is completely renovated and has all you need. Well stocked with beach supplies and bikes too. The owner alerted me when the house was available for an early check in which was a nice touch.
I can mainly reiterate what so many others say. This is a lovely property with a well-designed layout in a quiet neighborhood. The home is nicely appointed and spotless. Appliances are up-to-date and the heating/cooling system highly responsive. The hosts do a first-rate job with informative communications and quick responses to inquiries. There is excellent access to beaches both on Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic. The bakery at PB Boulangerie – 4–5 minutes by car – is superb of its kind (their bistro was closed, owing to covid-related staffing problems, at the time of our visit). There are interesting good restaurants to explore, even off-season.
We have stayed at this location many times in the past and have always enjoyed our time there. This stay was just as enjoyable as our previous visits.
We greatly enjoyed our week-long stay at this gem of a house overlooking the lovely woods and salt marsh. It was a perfect size for my husband and me, and the extra room with the daybed proved to be a blessing when our daughter surprised us with a brief visit to help celebrate her dad’s birthday. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit the Cape!
My partner and I stayed 6 nights in early May at this little cottage. The location is very convenient for hiking and biking and the owners provide really good directions. The house is perfect for two, and maybe a small child or two. We found some missing but promised features and the owners provided a discount. Be careful to read the fine print since by renting you are obligated to take the trash out or get a penalty. Besides, the owners don’t do laundry so you have to do your own before you leave or bring your own linens. Early May on the Cape is full of beautiful blossoms and the weather can be fantastic but many restaurants and businesses have restricted hours or are not yet open for the season.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wellfleet. The home was perfectly located for access to hiking, biking, and exploring the National Park trails, the Wildlife Sanctuary, Rail Trail, and PTown. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and we loved how quiet the neighborhood was. Communication was phenomenal with the Owners and they were so generous with their personalized recommendations of things to see and do in the off-season!
The house is charming and comes as advertised. The owner, Chris, is an exceptional host and guide. Except for the rain, the house is a keeper.
My husband and I took a much needed escape to Wellfleet at the end of August. It was such a welcome and beautiful change to our current lifestyle. The house was perfect for the two of us. We wanted for nothing additional at the house - it was very clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Chris and Amy were gracious hosts and very responsive to my various questions. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short! We would absolutely return for a future stay.
