Bear Lake Sleeps 44 Private Inn Family Reunions Groups, Weddings

We recently stayed at The Heritage at Bear Lake with a large group and had an excellent experience. The property was exceptionally well-suited for gathering with family and friends. The spacious indoor common areas gave everyone plenty of room to relax, visit, and spend time together without ever feeling crowded.One of the biggest highlights was how accommodating the home was for families with children. The layout provided individual bedrooms that allowed each family to have their own private space while still being part of the larger group experience.The outdoor gathering area was another standout feature. There was ample space for games, activities, and simply enjoying time together outside. The location is also fantastic—just a short distance from North Beach, making it easy to enjoy everything Bear Lake has to offer.The kitchen was fully functional, well-stocked, and equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a large group. It made cooking and dining together easy and enjoyable.The host was extremely communicative and helpful even into the later hours of our first night's stay there. Overall, The Heritage at Bear Lake exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place for a large family gathering. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, and family-friendly place to stay near Bear Lake.

We had high hopes for this property as the site for our family reunion, but it ultimately fell short. The home is large and the kitchen is well-equipped. The yard was great for outdoor activities, and the location was perfect for enjoying 4th of July events.However, there were many disappointments. There was a camera inside the living space, which VIOLATES VRBO policy. The host dismissed our concerns. There was no TV, minimal comfortable seating, and per the house rules, we were not allowed to rearrange furniture to better suit our group. The beds were extremely uncomfortable—some family members left early or slept in their vehicles. Temperature control was inconsistent, with rooms either freezing or very hot.After booking, we were informed we’d be sharing the property with another group, which was not disclosed. This led to noise and parking issues. WiFi was unusable, and access to advertised entertainment areas required an extra fee. No BBQ was available—we had to buy one. The cleaning checklist was excessive, especially given the home’s poor condition at check-in: dirty bedding, rodent droppings, and cobwebs.We tried resolving concerns with the host, but received no support. The property has potential, but we wouldn’t return unless major improvements are made.

Great location for us--close to Bear Lake, Paris Ice Cave, etc. The facilties were clean. We popped a breaker cooking breakfast but the host helped us immediately. Some of the beds were creaky making it hard for some to sleep. Two of the 3 grills did not work, but the host was not aware of that and will probably fix it. Great fire pit area which we enjoyed. Plenty of room for corrn hole and volleyball.

We had a big family reunion at Bear Lake. 47 of us stayed here (60 altogether). Some people rented the adjoining apartments. There is a big eating area that would host dinners and breakfast for everyone. There is also a big grassy area with picnic tables for games and letting kids play around. The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with lots of pots, pans, griddles, silverware, bowls and 2 big refrigerator/freezers. You are about 20 minutes away from the Bear Lake Marina. Lots of fun to be had. I would definitely recommend. Pros: Lots of beds, clean sheets and blankets big dining room to feed a big group play card games good kitchen and supplies great host - available to help or answer questions big outside area to play big parking area Cons: Bedrooms are pretty tight - not a lot of room for luggage or closets Beds aren't super comfy - doable for a few of days. Overall we would definitely recommend for big groups.
