Beachy Wilmington Home: 6 Mi to Riverwalk + Dtwn!

We had a great stay at this rental home! The location is nice — just a quick 10-minute drive to the beach, and very convenient to nearby stores, restaurants, and everything we needed during our trip. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with a cozy, homey decor that made it easy to settle in and relax.One thing to note is that the home is located directly on a busy road, so there is some traffic noise, especially during the day. That said, it quiets down significantly at night, and we managed it just fine by using a travel sound machine and a white noise app on our phone, and I used earplugs, as I'm a light sleeper. Only the primary bedroom faces the busy road - the other two were on the back side of the house, and family members staying there had no sound issues.The kitchen is well equipped which made it easy to prepare meals. Be sure to bring all the ingredients you’ll need for cooking, as well as laundry detergent and beach towels if you’re planning to head to the shore. A few small suggestions: a few darker-colored washcloths specifically for makeup removal would be great, and while the table in the kitchen is a great size having more chairs and/or adding a few barstools would make it more comfortable for eating in.Overall, this home offered a great mix of convenience, space, and comfort—definitely a great option for anyone looking to stay close to the beach without being right in the middle of all the crowds or the exhorbant expense.

This was a very well appointed house. The only issue that we had was only being able to come in the front door. It rained during our stay which made getting in and out a little difficult. There is a good backyard, but we were not able to Come in and out that way. It was a very good day, though in the kitchen was well stocked and lots of great places to sit and visit. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stop in Wilmington for our Training Team! Wonderful spot near our store and close to the beach! Cute house and very clean!

Overall great place to stay. Only issue we had was the beds. The back bedroom mattress is too small for the frame or broken. Mattress kept falling in. And all the mattresses have a plastic wrap. It’s great for keeping things clean, but is very noisy if you move in the bed at all. Everything else with this house is Great!!

We were in town for Ironman 70.3 NC and it was in the perfect location for all of the various points on the course! The house was well kept and cozy, and the backyard was a great space for all of our gear (and also a fantastic open-air office for me to get work done).

Clean, spacious, convenient to everything, outdoor space. Very nice!

We loved this home. It fit us perfectly. It was very conveniently located to everything and had all of the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Home has 2 living areas, spacious bedrooms, appointed kitchen. Bathrooms were also very nice. Would stay here again.
